Do you know or have you hosted this user?

From SoCal and retired to the dark skies of SW New Mexico in 2008. Married to my wife Elayne (who has Alzheimer's). Have a class C that we take to Idaho each summer. Caring for Elayne is now pretty much my full time job. When I can I ride my BMW R1200RT which is my other love.

Skills & Expertise to Share

As an engineer I like to do my own maintenance on our CR-V (toad), Coachman RV, and my motorcycle. Have a small shop and large garage where I house my toys (MH, motorcycle, UTV, ...). Our 10 acres keep me busy year round.

Bob88061's Pets

Coco a 15 lb bundle of energy and love. Of course she is always with us

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Not much boondocking as my wife requires amenities (power!) to keep her comfortable.

Bob88061's Hometown

Silver City, NM --- 80 miles North of Mexico (you can see mountains in Mexico from our front yard) and 25 miles East of the AZ border (you can see Mt Graham in AZ some 90 miles East of us).

Wonderful stay

We’re grateful to Bob for his graceful hospitality. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Beautiful location. Can see 80 miles into Mexico. Incredible sunset. We hope to stay again when we’re back in New Mexico. Thanks, Bob.

Beautiful views!

Very friendly host, beautiful location, scenic neighbourhood, so much fun to explore. We really enjoyed our time at this location. Lots of beautiful scenery and many choices for hiking. Bob's description was spot-on, the paved drive is steep and curvy, but our truck and 30 foot trailer managed just fine. Turning at the top was a little tight but workable. I wouldn't want to do it with anything longer! Bob was helpful identifying places to check out.
