Retired computer geek looking for roads less travled

Do you know or have you hosted this user?

50 years fixing problems in systems. My wife and I have been discovering roads and folks from the southern border to near the arctic, ocean to ocean. We have a nimble rig that should handle most anything called a road. We like traveling and meeting new friends. I now require supplemental oxygen, so electricty is very nice, but I can do 1 night on fully charged batteries.

Send the very best

Quiet couple, good visitors. Neat experiences shared. No problems here.

Great guests! We look forward to hosting you again any time.

The Forestexplorers are great boondookers! We enjoyed sharing travel stories and talking about cooking while on the road. Other than spending an enjoyable evening sharing stories over drinks and some home made cornbread, we never even knew they were here.

Pleasant guest

Forestexplorer was a great guest. Quiet and communicative. We had a nice chat about the many places he has been. He is always welcome back.

Experienced Boondocker

Forestexplorer was a greasy guest. He provided an ETA, arrived when he said he would, found a level spot and hooked up with no fuss. We had a brief chat and went our separate ways. I think he’s done this before!

Forestexplorer is a very friendly gentleman. He found a level spot and set up, hooked up to electric and was set for the evening. Come back anytime.

FORESTEXPLORER is a pleasant gentleman to HOST, almost Hemingwayesque in appearance and demeanor! He travels alone in his pickup with his popup truck camper, arriving on his ETA, self-sufficient and respectful of our property. He needed no water but requested electrical as he has been dry camping for several days west of here and his house batteries needed a jolt. Since he plans on just an overnight, hopefully, that will suffice to top them off. FORESTEXPLORER is welcome anytime there is room available! Becky & George

Great couple.

Nice couple. They only stayed overnight so we didn't get to chat a lot, but perhaps they'll come stay with us again. They're certainly welcome to.

Windy days could not slow these two down.....

Got to talk wit Eric & Linda upon their arrival, Eric said they would probably be the quietest guests we've ever had and they were right.... 2 awful windy days, too windy to go out and just annoying when you did. They would be welcomed back any time...
