We just bought our Fleetwood Rallye Class C coach in the summer of 2012 and have traveled as often as we can since then. We share a love of travel and adventure and hope to do it quite extensively when the kiddies are grown up and on their own.
2016 UPDATE: We, sadly, were forced to sell our class C. She had roof damage that was beyond my ability to repair. Not to be deterred, we took an old high-top work van and converted it into our new 'home on wheels'. Some day we'll but that big beautiful coach we dream of but for now the Camper Van fits the bill!...
I have a degree in Foodservice Management and love the opportunity to cook for guests whenever I can.
We love Vermont and have boondocked near Stratton Mountain in super freezing weather. But those stars at night! So worth it. Looking forward to a trip to Montreal this spring, 2017.
This was our first Boondockers experience and not our last. Due to everyone's busy schedule we didn't get to sit on the porch and talk any, but both Jeff and Danielle were very accommodating and pleasant folks. Maybe we'll be able our next visit to RI visiting family.
Though we were next to a busy road the traffic noise didn't bother us. Come the 4th of July we were entertained by locals in 6 different directions setting off fireworks to about 10 PM. Everywhere you looked there were fireworks going off.
We had plenty room to park our camper and tow vehicle and felt safe and comfortable while there.
Jeff was very kind, told us of the sights, and helped us get plugged in. We only stayed one night, but we were very thankful for his gracious hospitality! Thanks again!!!!!
Stayed at Jeff's for two nights & it could not have been better! Large parking area, fairly quiet even though we were close to a major road. Very convenient to library, drug stores, gas stations & propane. Really enjoyed chatting with Jeff and was so pleased he provided us with water & electricity. This was our first experience boondocking on someone's property and we were worried it might feel ackward or weird. Not so - Jeff made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much!
Jeff responded quickly to our request and was outside waiting for us upon arrival. After plugging in we started visiting and discovered we had mutual friends in the folk music community! Looking forward to having them come and visit us in Austin.
they were very friendly, came out as soon as we arrived to show us where to park and hook up with hydro. Eager to see if there was anything more we needed.
Jeff was great, he helped us with our questions, suggested great local spots, gave us electric hook up (15amp) and even offered for water fill-up. We had a great time in the area visiting Providence and Newport from there, and it was the opportunity to stay at a friendly, safe place that made it possible. We exchanged contact info and hope to be in touch in the future and meet all his family. Thanks for a great time. Genti & Julieth
What fun I had meeting and chatting with these "new best friends", we seemed to share lots of similar interests. I felt so pampered with their offers of additional "home comforts" - including a fabulous dinner - how awesome is that! This was indeed a fun stay with this very interesting and energetic family. I wish I had planned a longer stay but afraid they would have exhausted me and believe me that's hard to do ! Thanks Again for your wonderful hospitality !
Perfect for anyone who needs park their home, work, play, etc!
I was able to park my rig there, close to 30 foot long plus truck. Very friendly host!
Lastly this was my first boondock experience and was successfully able to prove that this is way cheaper than extended stay at the Marriott!
Will I boondock again? You could bet on it.
Jeff & Danielle were a real treat to boondock with. A paved flat easy to use location beside their own class C. They made us extremely welcome and with a tiny bribe of some Canadian Beer Jeff made us one of the best salads I've ever eaten. They also shared "Sadie" a real nice Golden Lab that no one could not love at first sight. Thanks again folks - you know you always have a spot at our place if you're in the 'hood.
