My husband, Gary, and I live on 10 acres near Richmond, VA. When I am not working part time as an Occupational Therapist I am a fitness instructor for the YMCA and Fitness Warriors of Richmond, VA. My husband is fully retired and was in computer sales for 30 years and loves all things mechanical and technical. In January of 2019 we purchased our first travel trailer. We drove from VA to Rice, TX to pick our new Casita up camping all the way home.
We have a happy rescue dog that wants everyone to pet her. We think she is part Duck Tolling Retriever and Beagle.
We live outside Ashland, VA. Which is a sleepy Mayberry type town 10 miles north of Richmond, VA. There is a railroad track running through downtown with big old houses lining the track. We are very convenient to I-95, and I-64. We are a 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, 2 hours from VA Beach, 2 hours from Washington DC, and 1.5 hours to Skyline Drive near Charlottesville, VA home of Thomas Jefferson.

Very much enjoyed their visiting and conversation. Quite surprised when they got here we already knew each other. Had a great chuckle on that one. Definitely welcome to return.
We didn't get to talk much but they were extremely pleasant!
Would most definitely host CountryCorner again!
Such a nice couple and cute doggy! Great to chat with, quiet and clean. They are welcome to stay again.
Safe and happy travels!
Country Corners stay was short and sweet. We look forward to their return visit.
Guests arrived and departed when expected, were very kind, respectful and tolerant of our crazy lives (children, driveway projects, nosy neighbors and the pizza man). We really enjoyed meeting the couple and their pup. We would definitely host again. Thanks for staying!
We arr new members and this was our first use of the app. CountryCorner was the most amazing host. They had power and water waiting for us if we needed them and gave us access to their WIFI for crucial Zoom meeting. Their property is easy to find, conveniently located, lovely, private and very accommodating. Needless to say, we were very happy campers. Thank you for a warm welcome and a terrific stay. We hope to visit you again some day.
This was my first Boondocker stay ever! My hosts were so gracious. I was their first post pandemic guest. As a new RVer they gave me some great tips. Location is convenient to Fredericksburg and Williamsburg, in my opinion. Area is conducive for cycling!
Second time that I stayed at this location, which has been central to my traveling the east coast. Warm and welcoming hosts on a beautiful wooded piece of property, nice even camp site.
Very accommodant Boondockers and perfect spot.
We really recommand it.
G’s family! 😃
Great host near Appomattox. After giving him a tour of my Earthcruiser, he showed me his 62 'Vette and then gave me a ride in his '18 Tesla. What a car. Then he invited me into his house to watch some NFL. Unfortunately no game was on. Next time.
Highly recommend this host
Thank you for welcoming us to your home. Your property is beautiful and your offer of water and electricity was greatly appreciated!
We look forward to visiting again and wish you well on your upcoming travels.
My hosts met me and got me hooked to water, elec and WiFi.
Met their awesome rescue dog.
Beautiful spot, easy pull in and pull out.
Would definitely stop by again.
Very nice people
We loved staying with our hosts at CountryCorner! Their property is quiet and secluded. Very beautiful! We had plenty of space for our rig and they were so generous as to let us use some of their water and electricity. We would definitely stay here again!
The hosts were great and the property was very quiet and comfortable. I even saw a couple deer playing in the field
We cannot believe CountryCorner hadn’t hosted before! We were their first guests but they seemed like they had lots of experience! They had everything set out for us and made us feel very welcomed.
The parking spot was level and their property is beautifully wooded and very quiet! Very nice people to visit with - we would be happy to host them anytime they venture to NC!
