We are a family on a grand adventure to see every state in America. Since we home school our kids Miles, Journey and Trip, we love educational sites. From National Parks to museums we explore any place that we can learn something. Our favorite thing though is visiting the state capitol buildings. They are free, educational and you can learn so much about the local history and art! Everyone tells us our kids are super well behaved and I think that comes from always home schooling them, even before our adventure. Warning, you will fall in love with them and no you can't keep them when we leave : ) though they might want to write you letters if you ask them to. One of the things we do as we travel around is pick up litter, so we always leave a camp nicer than we found it!
Way too many to list! I went to school for graphic design, but have done many things since. I find work all over America by not being afraid to roll my sleeves up and jump in. I have helped install solar panels, painted the interiors of multiple houses, taken professional pictures for campgrounds, designed websites for businesses, picked up trash for a National Park, and more! I fix our travel trailer or vehicle when it breaks. Both my wife and I are excellent cooks (we used to own a restaurant). My wife, Sarah, is a professional writer and editor. She went to school for early childhood education and child psychology. Our kids have numerous skills as well. Ok I think that is plenty of bragging and almost feel as though I am applying for a job.
No, but we do enjoy visiting with other peoples pets.
Lone Pine Mountains in California, The Badlands in South Dakota, The Black Hills in SD, A great spot in Maryland, and I love Work Docking at places all over America.
We are originally from Dayton, NV and still call it home. We travel full time though. It was supposed to be a year long adventure, but we love it so much we are coming up on our fifth year of traveling! In fact, we are even working out the details to buy a sail boat to travel around the world.
We have a 2016 Rockwood Ultra-lite 2905WS that we tow with our 2011 Nissan Armada. After full time traveling for more than 3 years, we are very good at backing it up.
Enjoyed hosting this family and hearing about their travels to all of the State Capitals, and their plans for the future. Hope they'll pass this way again.
It was our pleasure to host the appreciative “state by state” family. The children were well behaved and entertained themselves accordingly.
We enjoyed the card, and welcome them back soon.
Great kids. A family full time Rvers traveling the world. Very interesting and fun to talk with them.
Amazing Guests, Highly recommend, would have them stay anytime they would like!
What a great bunch! I have enjoyed them so much. The Kids are so smart and have great manners. They love playing with my dog and cat. Mom and Dad are the kind of adult children any parent would be proud of. If they request a stay at your place don't pass them by. They are always welcome at my place.
These folks were wonderful guests. They pretty much took care of themselves, but the kids liked seeing the chickens and it was nice chatting with everyone. We'd happily host them again.
I loved hosting this family. I wish they would have stayed another day. Come back any time!
Thank you so much for the very sweet and artist card made by the kids! I loved it!
We had a great experience hosting them. Learned a great deal from their very educated children. Would happily host again.
So glad they stopped here! They settled in quickly and we hardly knew they were here. We were glad they accepted our offer to use the yard, and we hope they had fun exploring our field and our neighborhood. Anytime they want to stay again, they'll be quite welcome!
