My wife and I are on a 1-year road trip with our four boys. I know everyone says this about their kids but honestly I really do have the best behaved boys in the world. We've already been through BC Alberta Manitoba Saskatchewan starting Ontario. Our plan is to make it to Pei before the end of October and then head down to the States for the winter. If you'd like to hear more about our story the places we've been the people we've met or any things we've run into we'd love to have you over for a beer or coffee or tea hosts choice.
I am somewhat of a computer expert. If you host us and have a computer that needs some work I would be happy to do some free work for you. If the works very extensive I would be happy to be offered a small token amount to fix whatever computers you have. I also and pretty good at fixing most other electronic devices. And I'm a fantastic driver.
We have one pets a cat she stays in the trailer unless she goes out for a walk on her leash to my knowledge she has never pooped outside of her litter box ever and she is fixed with all their shots
As of yet I have no favourite boondocking locations but I did find one rest area right at the beginning of Ontario right at the tip of Lake Superior and it was absolutely the best rest area we've ever stated
We come from the hometown of Fernie BC skiing and powder capital of Canada. My wife and myself were both born and raised there and we both have lots of family in that area. If you're ever travelling to that area ask me and I'll tell you the best pizza and best places to stay.
I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with a long box that can be disconnected from my fifth wheel which is an arctic fox 27 and 1/2 ft long. I am fully contained I can generate my own power I got fridge stove washroom facilities and everything we could possibly need we don't even need really hookups just a place to park for the night.
We hosted superdad and his family for a couple of days and living a quiet peaceful life, I was kind of curious to see how a visitor with children would go. I was recovering from surgery and my husband welcomed them. They are a nice couple and have very well behaving children!!! Superdad is talkative, in for a good chat, some advice here and there and helpful with IT issues you might have while his lovely wife is very artsy; she surprised me with this wonderful painting. Too bad my health issues prevented me from meeting the youngest, but our house guests from the UK enjoyed their company as well!!! Safe travels with your lovely family!
We hosted this family for two nights. The weather was bad so we didn't get too much time to socialize.
They were quiet and respectival and welcome back.
They stayed for three days and they were so quiet that it was like he was not there.
Our B.C. guests were full timers who have been traveling awhile. We got to know them and their stories, which we enjoyed and learned what their lives were like. The couple has four boys in their rig, and they all work together very well. The family was quiet and respectful. We were fortunate to have "Superdad" help us with our computer, and "Supermom" painting a very lovely picture for us. They're heading south for the winter, and we wish them well. We may see them again as we travel south in our rig this winter!
it is with great pleasure that we have welcomed this beautiful family ..... four boys so calm and kind .... nice time shared with them around the fire! .... we wish greatly that this beautiful family come back one day to make a stay with us! .... we miss them already! We wish you a wonderful trip! be careful take care of yourself and make the most of your beautiful family trip! you will always be welcome at home! 😁
A family who has a dream and who realizes it.
We were away during the stay of Superdad and his family. I would have liked to meet them.
I enjoyed the exchanges with Superdad about his needs or special requests. We enjoyed that respect.
Good continuation of your road trip
At the pleasure of seeing one day!
Very well behaved. We were a bit concerned about the 4 children being so young, however, there was no issues. Well behaved and quiet.
