I live here with my roommate, Dee Dee Littledog. We love it here, Miss Littledog being very much into games of sandy beach ball fetch. Especially the kind of running- with- abandon that gets the white sand well into the ears and other furry parts.
So---life is good.
But growing up in the West as I did, and having parents that taught me to love wilderness, quietude and to appreciate the outdoors, Carmel alone is not enough. I simply MUST occasionally get away from urbanity (rhymes with insanity) and see..............THE STARS ! Which is not so easy to do in the year 2013. I call it "star hunger".
I am unfortunately an RV newbie currently purchasing an older Chinook 21 ft. Oh boy-- I sure hope I don't regret it.
You guys have got to help me out as I don't speak RV fluently yet, but usually a quick learner. ("Now what does THIS hose go to? You're kidding.....")
go ahead and make me feel inadequate
There must be something, but I can't think of it.
I am good at sleeping and also good at avoiding work. One of the best procrastinators around. My role model was Erma Bombeck. (does anyone even know who Erma Bombeck was anymore??)
Remember I am the one who doesn't know which hose is which. Only recently learned the definition of boondocking. But I look forward to learning some good spots to share with you.
I like to travel the Western states mostly. Fond of Utah, all red rock country and Indian historic sites, cliff dwellings
I miss very much the national parks that are ruined now by overcrowding.
Chinook 21 ft Just got it. Decorations? I'll just be happy if the wheels stay on... ... 1996. Sorry , I am not into the photo thing and I avoid social media sites. I prefer speaking to people, not typing to them. Funny that I have to apologise for it.
