We run a small family farm, with goats, cows, horses, cats and dogs. It is always busy around our place and we enjoy sharing our farm with others.
I'm a volunteer in state parks, my husband builds homes and farms.
Cats, dogs, cows, horses and goats. I travel with my long haired Dachshund, Peanut but Sam a yellow lab is always around the farm.
We are located in Canal Fulton.
Coachman Clipper 9.0 TB with v PKG. I tow with a Dodge ram 150
Host Sharon and Les (and Peanut) for two nights. Delightful conversations and very nice couple. Welcome them back anytime!
Sharon had some GPS issues and almost gave up on finding the campsite, but I was able to give her directions over the phone and help guide her to the right place. Sorry we couldn't meet in person. We hope you enjoyed your stay at the 20 acre wood and you're welcome to return anytime in the future.
Very quiet place to relax for a few days. If your in the area looking for a friendly place to stay, The funny Farm should be at the top of your list.
This was our first experience with BW and Les and Sharon have set the bar high for future hosts. The Snyders were friendly and accommodating hosts. They went above and beyond in helping us to get set up in the pull through parking spot and making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
They were really nice hosts and made us feel really welcome, This is a peaceful farm with alot of animals which we really enjoyed seeing.
Yay! Super helpful, kind and welcoming hosts.
Easy to access space with gravel. Great view of the corn fields and surrounding landscape. Clean/courteous cows, goats, horses, and dogs ;)
I stayed here for an event on the weekend. Very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful place, loved learning some of the history of the farm and family from Les. Will be back next year.
Funny Farm was a great place. Animals to watch, cute dogs and friendly accommodating hosts!
Great hosts, beautiful farm. Makes me want to be a farmer. Thanks for the hospitality
If you want to see what a family farm is all about, stay at the Funny Farm. Sharon and her family are the real deal and very hospitable. With cattle, horses, dogs, cats and goats including adorable baby goats, what's not to love! This was our first BW stay and I think we are spoiled.
The hosts were great and our kids loved experiencing a bit of farm life!
Stayed for the second time and couldn’t ask for kinder or more accommodating folks. Couldn’t say a bad thing about them if I tried. If you’re in the area, this is where you should stay!
I showed up a little later than I would have preferred and despite my tardiness and it being dark, these folks welcomed me and helped me get parked and were very affirmative in getting things done. They helped get blocks under the wheels and plugged me in and everything. Very friendly and accommodating, let me know what was in the area and we had some great conversations about local farming, food, and the farm bureau, which as a veterinarian I appreciated.
Couldn't have asked for nicer or more accommodating people. They have good hearts and like to give back and this was patently obvious throughout my almost weeklong stay.
We are new to RVing, and this was our first time boondocking! It was a great experience, the farm is beautiful and remote feeling, but only minutes away from Canton and Massillon. I would be happy to stay here again next time we are in this area. Thanks again, Funny Farm!
Sharon made us feel welcome and provided a wonderful spot to boondocks for a couple nights.
The nicest people you could meet, and what a beautiful piece of property, very accommodating. Thanks Les and Sharon
We had a great stay and loved meeting the hosts and their adorable dogs and goats (including 2 baby goats!). It was a short stay, but everything was wonderful. The spot was easy to get in/out of, level, and we really appreciate the stay!
We stayed at Funny Farm for 2 nights because we wanted to visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is about a half hour away. We have a 40' 5th wheel and came from the south per instructions. We had no problem pulling in next to the garage. There appeared to be a slight slope, so we adjusted our RV a bit and it leveled perfectly. We were generously provided with a 50amp hookup and the hosts were so friendly. They showed us around the farm and introduced us to the dogs, horses, and week-old baby goats! We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend Funny Farm to anyone passing through.
Sharon and Les welcomed us and helped us get settled into their nice private site. They are a short drive to Amish country and antique shops
We enjoyed sharing farming experiences with them.
We were wanting to stay around amish country for a few days. We had a question concerning the water. The host replied to our inquiry quickly which helped us with our selection. Thank you SharonLesSnyder
