Out going with a sense of humor. Love to meet new people.
I like to be as helpful as possible. I have always been very handy with tools and can fix just about anything.
Yes we have 3 small dogs. A 4 pound Yorkie, 8 pound Poodle and a 10 pound Morkie (Yorkie/Mulltice). Occasionally we have all 3 but the Yorkie is our main travel baby. They stay inside but do go outside to do their business but only on a leash. How else can you keep track of them and clean up after them.
We have not done much Boondocking at this point.
Blue Eye, Mo
We’ll set up and organized. Very cordial, generous hosts. We were given a dozen farm fresh eggs up on our arrival. Highly recommended, and would stay there again if ever in the area.
Norm and his wife was very friendly host. Greated us with a dozen eggs and invited us to a camp fire with other campers. Was helpful in any way . Help us fix the camper with no charge. great place to stay
Norm & Rhonda have a beautiful acreage. They are fantastic hosts. Norm met us at the beginning of his drive with a dozen eggs, smile and warm welcome. They are very giving and helpful people. Rhonda brought firewood for us. They really know how to host we will be back again. Highly recommend this host.
BEWARE: You may not want to leave!!! 😁We could not ask for more gracious hosts. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. He even helped us with rig repairs while we were there! The entire area is beautiful and very well maintained, and we got the best recommendation for a quiet swimming spot near by with an awesome view. You don’t want to miss this stop! We can’t wait to come back and stay a few days. Thank you both for everything, again! You are doing God’s work friends.
What a true pleasure to have met these hosts and stayed at the beautiful property. These folks give Boondockers Welcome its soul. The desire to serve our traveling community by offering a beautiful setting and safe haven is evident and so appreciated. The warm greeting, fantastic conversations left us wishing we were staying more than just the ‘stop over’. Our dog loved the open space too. Thank you Flat Acre Farms for sharing your home/space with these grateful travelers. We so enjoyed meeting you and do hope we can return again and spend some more time with you.
Now that we’ve had our second stay at Flat Acre Farms we feel like old friends with Norm and Rhonda. Great facility, great location, great people, even a great hamburger joint down the road where we joined them for dinner. We will surely stay here any time we are heading in that direction. We have recommended FAF to several campers we’ve met on the road.
Thank you for a wonderful welcome! We enjoyed a great evening visiting around a fire w the hosts and another family staying there. The kids ran around playing and having a good time. This place is well kept and beautiful. They have it set up like a mini campground - pull thru spots, electric and water as an option, a picnic table and a fire ring. Thanks again for a great stay!
The host greeted us warmly and guided us to our excellent and flat site. He provided a wealth of information about the area including a great quiet spot where we could enjoy the lake nearby without crowds. Wish we could have stayed longer and chatted with them. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.
Absolutely yes! Norm and Rhonda are very accommodating and entertaining hosts. After Norm led us in his golf cart around to our site, he spent the next several minutes wrestling with our 18-month old boxer. He hung around and talked with us as we got our rig situated, told us about the area and the history of Flat Acres Farm. Norm warns you up front, after 40 years sitting alone driving truck, he surely likes to talk with folks, and he is an interesting and entertaining fellow. Aside from the warm greeting and comradery, one of the features of Flat Acres Farm is that it is situated about 30 minutes from Branson, an easy drive through beautiful country. Unfortunately, we were there for only 2 nights, but we plan to come back to spend some time exploring the area and visiting with Norm and Rhonda. Great place to unwind. Quiet place to camp whether you are boondocking or hooked up for the night.
We stayed with these hosts for three nights. Our C class needed minor leveling but it was no big deal. Site had water and electric hook up, fire pit, and picnic table. The location was peaceful and spacious. Hosts were open, friendly, and willing to help with anything. They provided leveling boards, let us use their air compressor to check tire pressure, and helped with a minor repair to the hydraulic lift system. Their property is close enough to the Branson and Table Rock Lake area for day trips. Can’t say enough positive things about the hosts. Chances are you’ll leave there having made new friends and a promise to visit again.
Hosts were awesome and the sites are big and level with gravel. 3 sites so far have electric 30/50amp and water hookups. Very close to Branson and a lot of other great places to see. We will be back.
Nice facility with helpful hosts. We enjoyed the area and will return!
Hook ups available if needed. Flat sites.
Verizon tower a mile away.
Did I mention the host was helpful and friendly?
Norm & Rhonda were the BEST hosts ever.
Their place was amazing with power & water, picnic table & fire ring with wood.
They allowed us to extend our stay & Norm helped me with my RV.
They were very friendly & thoughtful.
We will definitely be returning when we are back in that area.
Thanks Norm & Rhonda.
Our stay at Flat Acre Farms (FAF) was excellent. The host went above and beyond to make our stay accommodating and enjoyable. In fact it seems one of his goals in retirement is to set up his property to accommodate Boondocking rigs of all sizes. We loved the fact that our nearest “neighbors” were the cows grazing in the pasture next to our camper. Both FAF host were extremely friendly and offered up any tools (and extensive knowledge) needed to fix any RV or vehicle related problem that we might have had. With Branson, Table Rock Lake, and lots of other sights in the area you won’t lack for things to do if you so desire. If not, FAF is just a great place to relax. Would we stop here again...you bet ya we would! And it’s a beautiful enough area that we just might.
We absolutely loved our stay with Flat Acre Farms. They made us feel so very welcome and even let us stay an extra night! We were nervous to drive into Kansas with the storms rolling in, there yard was a safe haven.
We enjoyed riding our bikes in the grassy yard and loved the cows and chickens!
The camper spot we used was graveled with medium to large rocks giving us a solid and extremely level foundation.
10/10 would stay with FAF again.
I had such a marvelous time. My hosts were really awesome and accommodating. They even gave me the super deluxe site to park! Fresh eggs. Great time for my dogs. You must, must visit!
We stayed at Flat Acre Farms with our four children, and we had the an absolutely lovely time. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the cow pasture each morning, and our kids had a blast riding their bikes on the property and trying to coax the cows to come closer. Ntaft0904 was very accommodating the our entire stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We felt so welcome and left rested and already talking about a return trip.
Flat Acre Farm is a super place to stay! Norm was an excellent Boondockers Welcome host. He greeted us as we approached his property and guided us to where we needed to park our travel trailer and helped us get level and all hooked up with electric & water. He chatted with us and made us feel very comfortable. He showed us around, showed us his camping rigs and shared his knowledge of camping. This place offers a great location that is far enough, but yet close enough to see and visit the local area; Branson, the strip, Restaurants, Table Rock Lake State Park, Table Rock Dam and Top of the Rock. We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly recommend this place to anyone passing through. We hope we can come back in our future travels. Thank you Norm & Rhonda for sharing your place with us. "Cesar says ... This Place Rocks!"
Wow! These people are RV people focused. It was easy for this new RV'r to park a 34' Montana 5th wheel. Heck, it could have been a Tractor Trailer 100' long for that matter if they made them.
Stay here and drive back up to Branson, MO when you want to shop, show or eat at the many restaurants. No need to be in Branson proper.
They at Flat Acre Farms have created an easy to use location near beautiful Table Rock Lake right on the MO/AR border. He has built professional picnic tables, 50 amp hookup, pure water to drink, and even multiple WIFI nodes for those like me whom need internet for work. They have a vision and have implemented it folks.
Your neighbor is the pasture of cows & the Blue Eye school with the School's Public Resource Officers driving by to and from the school so you are safe.
Class Act!! Will stay there again when in the area. Thanks Flat Acre Farms for the rest and the training on my RV from your deep knowledge base.
our stay here couldn't have been more enjoyable..from the time we arrived with refrigerator vent hanging from top of our camper to the last minute tour of host's and another guest's tow vehicles. they helped set up our camper, then took over on repairing my camper vent, all while my wife and I were readying for a concert we were to attend in branson that night. after the show was over, collecting autographs from Gene Watson and band, and a very nice meal in Branson, we returned to the very peaceful farm. we were shown the very professional repair job that the host and his other guest had done on our camper the next day.
our visit here surpassed all expectations. THANKS TO ALL. we'll be back
We were only able to meet the male part of Ntaft0904 but he did a stellar job of hosting. Extremely friendly and so knowledgable. Bill and I were there to test out some upgrades we made to our camper and do a little camping. Norm met us on arrival and showed us our home spot for the night. Offered help is we needed it and left us to get on with it. We went into Branson for a while and came back, later on, to have a nice dinner in our little camper.
Sunday we slept in a bit but were wakened by the sound of cows outside our camper. It was fun to hear them, they were not disturbing at all.
When we got out and about Norm came to check on us and we got into a great discussion on pulling 5th wheels. He gave us a fantastic tour of his shop and his project. Super interesting.
We left feeling welcomed and happy.
We could not ask for a better host.
We spent 2 nights here. Host welcomed our family of 6 as we arrived after dark. He showed us where to park and where to get water. We were out the next day to visit Branson which was a half hour drive away. Host was friendly and more than accommodating. There were a few other boondockers on site along with us. Great stop on our way to Texas.
Our stay at flat acre farms was beyond expectations. It’s a family atmosphere where you can feel safe and if you have camper questions the host is quick to answer them. Level sites with full hookups open area for dogs cows graze in the fields it’s the perfect stop on the way to your next destination. Flat Acre Farms is in the full spirit of boondocking I highly recommend them. Thank you Flat Acre Farms!
These are great people and we will be back again. We have become great friends.
Norm and Rhonda were fabulous hosts! We stayed with a few other Boondockers and ended up with a great friendship. We went to a couple of shows together, ate great dinners together, and even had a chance to do a few repairs on our RV. It has been, by far, our best boondocking experience. If we ever get back to this area we will definitely stay here.
What a great place and great hosts!!! He helped me fix multiple problems the my rig that woulda cost big $$$ at a shop! Also gave me great advice being the newbie I am....👍👍👍!!!!
Location was great, scenic drive into Branson. Really enjoyed these people, went to a local restaurant for diner and had a camp fire. We hope to meet again.
Norm and Rhonda were so, so gracious and helpful! We have new friends for life.
We'll stay again if we ever get the chance. Might even drop by just to chew the fat some day. :-)
He really can fix anything.
Super kind hearted helpful people. We will be backl
This was the first time we used Boondockers Welcome and it was wonderful. Ntaft0904 could not have been better hosts. The space provided was way beyond what we expected. We had a wide open area for our rig which is 41' long and our Ram dually and so much more. They provided water and electricity which we did not expect. But better still they provided warm friendship and hospitality. We had never been to Missouri and they gave us all the time in the world showing us the area when we asked if they would. We invited them to dinner our first night and enjoyed the evening so much we hoped they enjoyed it as much. Warm, friendly, hospitable and hopefully friends for life. We had so much fun with them we stayed an extra day and are going back in November. Our dogs got to run free which with a 1 year old boxer and a 5 year old German Shepherd is a real treat. We highly recommend this boondocking experience!
Host has a great place to stay here. They exceeded our expectations for a night stay boondocking, as they have electric and water hookup. Host and his wife were both very friendly and hospitable and helped us set up and also with local advice on locations to visit in the area and in Branson.
Will definitely stay here again in the future when we are in the area.
