Retired surgical nurse and retired sales/technician. Former sailboat cruisers. Now love taking trips in our RV.
We have a lovely, well behaved, quiet 37lb female mix dog. Rosie loves to travel and rarely barks.
Every location has its own attraction and beauty.
We live in Cascadia, Oregon when not traveling.
Keystone Everest 38 ft fifth wheel. Ford F2500. Looks great. Completely self contained.
They were 1 of 3 Boondockers we had at the same time. The were exploring Dc like the others, so not much time to socialize, witch is fine. Would host again
They are a truly wonderful couple and fun to be around! They spent 2 nights and since my husband was ill they invited me in their beautiful camper to visit in the evenings. They shared Their guacamole with me which was delicious! Their little dog is so sweet and they let me ride their electric bike. Fun! Had great convversations learning about their lives & travels. They are welcome back anytime.
Wonderful and interesting folks. Had some great chats. Welcome back anytime. Safe travels.
We spent the day doing the 101 tour up to Haystack. The accommodations were excellent and the stories about living on a sailboat and rebuilding the house from the ground up were entertaining. The road noise can bother some but not me. If you're doing the US 20 tour, this is a must stop.
Great host with some amazing stories from their 10 years of life on a sailboat. Fun time visiting with them. Unfortunately only had one night, but would have enjoyed more. Great tomatoes from their garden. Easy to miss when coming from the west, and nearest turn around is about 5 miles down the road so be careful on the approach. Would stay again if in the area. No cell service.
Sam & Nancy are wonderful hosts, with a great property right off of Hwy. 20. Sam made sure we were all set up, and even let us borrow an additional length of hose for water.
There is plenty to see and do around this location. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.
Wow!!$. What a wonderful time we had with our hosts. They were so kind and gracious. We couldn’t have asked for more wonderful hosts and friends!!! The stay was perfect. Thanks so much. See you in Costa Rica...haha.
I really enjoyed my stay at Two Waters, the most enjoyable visit I have had in a very long time.
Sam and Nancy were very friendly and accommodating. They provided us a great map for our hike across the river.
I arrived in the late afternoon and was greeted by the host. The location is right off the highway but the surrounding canyon and nearby river is beautiful. I had no difficulty sleeping, as traffic decreased at night.
A great overnight stay for us at RosieDog's. Arriving in the middle of a wet rain, they had us park in the packed gravel driveway rather than risking a soggy, soft landing where they often host guests. A bit of highway noise, but didn't detract from a good night's sleep. Enjoyed visiting (with masks) and sharing stories. Hope they come to Central Oregon and we can reciprocate. Thanks so much!
Rosiedog were a very kind and welcoming couple. We had some enjoyable discussions. There are lots of nice hikes in the area, like Casadia state park next door. The drive passed their location going up in the Cascade mountain is beautiful.
I had a wonderful stay with RosieDog :)
Thank you so much for being so helpful and available to get me set up with all that I needed.
I'm excited to continue to meet great people like these two.
Good luck with your home projects!
Even though the hosts are going through some major house remodel they allowed me to stay. And what lovely people they are !
They gave me lots of very helpful information about the area and sights to see. My spot was level and it's very quiet there at night. Their property is next to a beautiful state park.
And then there is sweet Rosie, their rescue dog. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you guys !
RosieDog were great hosts. They invited us to stay even though they had a current Boondocker. We enjoyed talking with them and exchanging travel stories. The location was perfect for the hikes to McDowell and Soda falls and Iron mt we had planned. Hope to visit them again a check out the progress on their house Reno. Highly recommend these guys!
We enjoyed our stay at their place and they were super kind to us. They were understanding that we are newbies to the RV world and were informative and helpful to our understanding of the Cascadia Area. We would definitely us them again 👍
I very much enjoyed my visit to this location because the Hosts are very friendly & helpful w local advice & it is convenient for exploring (perhaps seasonally) w daytrips in both directions along US Hwy 20.
Eastward on a longer day-trip, you can take the beautiful drive through the beautiful Williamette National Forest.
I drove ~60 miles to the very nice town of "Sisters, OR." where I enjoyed a wonderful casual inexpensive meal at Takida's. Further East on Hwy 20 is the very nice town of Bend, OR.
Westward on a shorter 1/2 day-trip, you can walk the Trails & explore the very nice County Park & River located behind their home. Further West is a nice drive to an old but still frequently used Covered Bridge, the Cascadia State Park, Shea Point on the popular Foster Lake. Across the road is the very popular Point Restaurant which is only ~11 miles from the Two Waters location.
Yes! I would definitely enjoy returning again, maybe when their "small" House Remodeling project is completed.
A true haven for the weary traveler. Beautiful people with their own waterfall overlooking a beautiful river. Would definitely stay there again
