In aviation, I am known as "Skychick" (www.Skychick.com) During the past 16 years, I've often spent entire summers "air-camping" which means flying my airplane into remote wilderness areas, landing on dirt or grass airstrips and solo camping under the wing. I've air-camped in virtually every state West of the Rockies bouncing from airstrip to airstrip while simultaneously testing and reviewing gear in the most extreme conditions...no power, no water, no roads, no 911.
I decided to explore the RV world and have been traveling for two years in my 20 foot Lance 1575 Travel Trailer and loving it. I spent three months customizing what some refer to as a "James Bond" rig...lots of interesting additions.
I had zero experience with RVing when I departed in May 2019. I've learned a lot since then and appreciate the help I've received from other RVer's. I've also watched a zillion RV YouTube videos! During the first four months, I stayed in RV, state and national parks until I found Boondockers Welcome...which is the best membership program any RVer could join! I thank all of the hosts that make life easier for us. I've made lifetime friendships with wonderful hosts across the country. I've been fortunate to explore 52 countries and am still endlessly fascinated with the diversity of culture and terrain that we have right here in the good old USA.
Workwise, I have been sponsored by Honda for the past five years. I am a full-time Ambassador for them and their voice for the general aviation flying, small marine craft and the RV Community. This trip has been named the "Skyway to Highway RV Adventure". My Honda generator powers the trailer and a Honda BF2.3 outboard motor powers an inflatable boat which I carry along to fish for dinner. Lastly, I have been a sales rep for "Motoart.com" for 14 years. Motoart fabricates unique high-end corporate furniture using rare aircraft parts.
Thank you for considering me as a guest. I promise to be polite, clean, quiet and respectful of you and your property.
I am an author, video editor, pilot, scuba diver, skier, entrepreneur and general sports enthusiast.
Jeanette Lake, MN. It is spectacular.
I am a native of Southern California and the beaches (Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, CA) have been my home for the past 20 years. I've also lived in Central and Northern California.
I have a Lance 1575 Travel Trailer and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both in very nice condition.
If it weren't for this organization, we never would have met so many wonderful people. This one tops the list so far! We enjoyed sharing our experiences with her and learning all kinds of interesting things from Sky Chick.
Take time to get to know her and you will not be sorry.
She has an interesting setup with her camper and vehicle. She had done some interesting camping. We would love for her to fly in someday for a visit or stay.
Come again, dear friend!
I cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed having SkyChick visit with us! She is not only one of the most interesting people I have ever met, but she is also extremely considerate and just fun to have around. My only regret was that she had to leave…. I feel SkyChick and I would have become very close friends if she lived closer.Hope to stay in touch and host you again! BW Hosts - if you should be fortunate enough to host SkyChick make sure you allow time to get to know her. She will be one of the most interesting people you will ever get to know!
SkyChick has so many interesting stories. I just wish we could fly with her sometime in her Cessna. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her. One of the greatest benefits of being a host is meeting new and interesting folks like her. She's welcome back anytime.

Enjoyed SkyChick's stay. Her experiences have been interesting to say the least.
SkyChick is a very interesting, respectful and independent lady who handles her rig easily and had everything she needed. I was fortunate to have some time to enjoy her vibrant company and found we were kindred spirits following different paths of adventure! (hers far more adventurous than most!) Lovely lady we were happy to host...but if we hadn't had time to chat, she would have been happy quietly communing with nature and checking out the animals. So glad to have met this accomplished inspirational woman!
