My wife and I are joined by one toddler and one dog as we have been living the full-time RVer adventure! We are new to RVing and are looking to meet new people and experience the world as we never have before. I've always wanted to travel and see the rest of the country, and this has been a wonderful way to do just that.
I'm a techie at heart, but I believe in taking time out to enjoy nature. You can find me either tinkering with the latest gadget, or out hiking or exploring the closest city.
I am a novice DIYer for household or mechanical projects, but I am highly skilled with technology, and love to talk about the latest gadget... or would love to help you fix your gadgets if you need help!
We have one beautiful mini-Australian Shepherd that is quite the sweetie. She would let you pet her all day and be your friend. She does generally get along great with other dogs, especially if they have energy and want to play! There is not much better to her then a yard and a playmate to race. She will travel with us, but is crate trained as needed and can be kept on leash for walks as needed. If preferred, she can stay in our RV (except bathroom breaks) while at your location.
Two that come to mind are Spanish Fork Canyon in Utah and Scoria Pit in North Dakota.
My wife and I don't have super strong roots anywhere - with both of us having been born and raised near Seattle until we were each about 12. I then lived in the Phoenix area until I was about 20, and since then has been in the Salt Lake City area. My wife left Seattle for Salt Lake City, and so that has where we have been since we got married. We now call the road our home, though we might settle down soon (Maybe in South Dakota or Alaska).
2000 Rexall Aerbus 35' Class A motorhome with two slideouts (one on each side). We have a tow vehicle (Chevy Equinox) but typically will drive into an unknown camping area with it detached and following behind separately, to arrive at the same time as us.
We enjoyed watching everyone relax and have a good time. Interesting people welcome here anytime
They were ''passing through'' east Texas, and I was fortunate that they chose to stay at my place! They were great guests, and were so quiet that I would never have known they were here, except for being members of Boondockers Welcome!
It's always a pleasure to have such great guests and to know that you've hosted another traveler wanting a simple overnight stay where they know they will be able to relax without fees and restrictions!!
Very nice young family setting out on their adventure. Very polite and kept to themselves as he was working from home. We swapped a loaf of homemade sourdough bread in exchange for electric and water.
Wish we could have met but we are in China until summer, so we just communicated via email and my security camera system.
Welcome again anytime.
