Just a New England guy living in the North East Kingdom of Vermont.
There is a reason for the name given to this region of Vermont by Gov. George Aiken.
Just up here enjoying the nature and beauty of Vermont.
Live and let live is the way to go. I am curious, open minded, love learning, experiencing new cultures, food and of course people.
SCUBA, love to swim and paddle and know most waterways around VT,
Kayak, snowshoe, learning cross country skiing, bicycle, walk, fish, hunter (deer and turkey only).
Food. Camping, hiking. Exploring, traveling,
Cat, chickens, rabbits, pigs.
I never have, but want too. I camp in my tent and always been on a campground, state park or friends or woods.
So maybe tenting in the open woods counts as boondocking?
We stayed 3 nights. Perfect spot to explore the NEK. We had a really nice visit with our host and her mom. We felt entirely safe. Easy access. Large open area. Perfect for our needs. We are do grateful! There is road noise but is minimal by 10 pm.
Easy to find and park. Well keep easy to come and go for activities we like. Did water sport on 3 different lakes in 3 days. Hope he will have us again Thanks.
I am grateful to our host for letting us "squat" overnight. The dogs got to stretch their legs and run free in the field behind the buildings.
Good place to "pit stop" and take a breather.
Carl and his wife are wonderful people we had a fantastic stay. Location is great with plenty of things to do close by and super nice people in the towns surrounding the location.
Good ATT service, reasonable T-mobile (but it switches to roaming) and great Verizon service if that's important.
Would definetly recommend and stay again
