Hi, My name is Ian. I'm a 52-year-old man with a cervical spinal cord injury. I broke my neck in a vehicle rollover in Baja Mexico the day after my high school graduation. Ending up a quadriplegic, I rehabilitated myself back to walking but with age, my condition has worsened. In March of 2018, I bought a Hymer Aktiv and have been on the road fulltime since. Loving this nomadic lifestyle exploring new exciting places meeting new friends. I'm making the most of life before my injury that is getting progressively worse has me permanently back in a wheelchair.
In 1995 I went back to school and completed a 1,000 course and received my HHP Holistic Helth Practitioner certification as a massage therapist.
Before my journey began. I was the owner and artist at Cloud House Pottery in Delray Beach where I taught people how to make pots on the potter's wheel. I first started doing ceramics back in high school.
No, but I am looking for a forever rescue dog.
My favorite boondocking locations have to be the ones next to water. The ocean is my sanctuary, next would be close to waterfalls rivers and streams. There is something about moving water that both relaxes me and makes me come alive.

Hoping this fellow comes back as he came late and left early. Would love to get to know him better.
Ian visited for a quick visit. He was nice, quiet and and self contained in his van. Would host again and am sure anyone would love having him.
Ian was a wonderful guest. Very friendly and we shared many stories. HIs own story and his travels make for a great time. He will be welcome back anytime and look forward to a visit next year!
