A 160 acre ranch that is 5 miles of gravel road access off of an interstate 70 exit. Camper is allowed next to a stocked pond requiring a sharp left turn onto a 20 foot wide easement road. Camp site is available during dry weather. Site is on the east side of the ranch next to the county road. The pond is surrounded by cottonwood trees providing shade for the campers.
Truly a 'jack of all trades'. I provide mechanic, carpentry, and home repair services to friends and family. In addition I work my ranch and am on site working everyday.
My unusual pets include raccoons, skunks, opossums, deer, bobcats, pheasant, quail, dove and cattle. And, no, I do not take my 'pets' on my trips. They stay home and take care of the ranch.
My career provided me the opportunity to visit all 50 states and territories. Now retired, I continue to travel returning to states to visit places I have not been. My travel is with a pickup and a motorcycle carrier allowing me to camp in the pickup bed and sight see using the motorcycle.
Salina, Kansas Salina is 16 miles to the east and south of the ranch. I have a house on the ranch and one in town. I live between the two depending on what is going on in my life.
