Born in Colorado, lived in New Mexico for 15 years, and now full time resident of Baja, where I live with my wife Rolene. I design and build alternative buildings using adobe mud, straw, cans, tires, and pallets.
Here on our 670 acre (268 hectares), we farm about 25 acres (10 hectares) of perennials for building and craft use and have a fruit orchard of citrus, mango, grapes, and figs. My wife and I enjoy a quiet life living close to nature in our small farming community of Los Planes, 2 hours north of Cabo.
Our daughter is married to a Mexican man and they live nearby with our 4 granddaughters. White sand beaches abound, good fishing 8 miles away, sunshine is plentiful, and it's just a pleasure to live here where the famous crime the media plays up doesn't exist. When the winter winds howl up north, come visit us...or anytime of the year, really !!!
Can teach how to build houses economically using recycled materials and mud, as well as share much info and ideas about gardening. Mechanic, plumber, some computer.
Have enjoyed boondocking Baja, Minnesota, Colorado,Arizona, New Mexico.
1973 Superior Class A motorhome---22 foot. She's an oldie but a classic. 58,000 miles and solidly built. Nostalgic.
