What a pleasure to get to know this couple! They are gracious guests, quiet, respectful and good conversationalists! They are welcome back any time.
Quiet, kind and respectful! While at the same time a lot of fun. Look forward to hosting them again.
Super guests.
We greatly enjoyed our time with them. We had some great conversation About their travels, Beer, Whiskey and Whisky, we shared some drinks and when they left.......
They left too soon! We really feel
Like we made some great friends and truly hope they make it back to us soon and stay longer. Looking forward to some kayak fishing!
We missed them as soon as they left our property.
I’ll say it again. Super guests!!!
Generally people stop in then run off to New Orleans, but they choose the little bay side town of Bay St. Louis, MS with it art studios, restaurants, beach, and laid back old town feel. A 1966 Natalie Wood movie peaked their interest and they discovered a walking tour of the places shown in that movie. We discussed bamboo cultivation and manufacturing of Bamboo Fishing Poles and Bamboo Tomato stakes and after a tour of my manufacturing process I instruced my guest on cutting and trimming bamboo for alternate usages such as tent and tarp poles, thus adding a new product to my line. After just 2 nights they were off to the desert but are welcomed back anytime, Bamboo has a way of joining people together, along with hothouse tomatoes. Come again, the bamboo calls you back.
Thoroughly enjoyed this couple. Wonderful conversations about RVing and literature, two of my favorite subjects! Truly hope to see them again, maybe when we hit Canada in July?! Always welcomed guests at Big Daddy's.
The first day we were all hunkered down, weathering a severe storm, but we finally were able to share a few moments with this warm couple before they continued their journey. I am so glad we did. We hope you come back again, and we can have more time to enjoy good conversation and your good company. Safe and happy travels.... till we meet again.
With all the news it is great to have my respect and admiration for humanity refreshed. Great people. We had a good time around the campfire and were a joy to talk with. You are welcome back anytime.
We' were not here to do our usual welcome but as returning BW guest familiar with our set up and routine we were comfortable with having them feel right at home. When we got home later that day they were all comfy and laid back. Travel safe. See you next time. Welcome back.
They were our #47 , #56 and now #79 with in a 60 day span.
Had another great but short visit. We shared Thanksgiving with other BW guests that were here. Reinforced why we are all thankful for BW. Welcome back any time and trusted enough that if we were not here for arrival or full stay they know our facility and routine and have a Florida home port.
SO glad to have the BdW chorus sing you happy birthday and that you got to fulfill your birthday dinner goal.
A very charming couple and glad we had some short periods of time to share stories and experiences. They were most appreciative and respectful of our host location and welcome back any time.
Travel safe and stay in touch.
A very nice and friendly couple that communicated well before their arrival and then arrived on time. They were only staying overnight as they traveled through but we were able to visit for sometime. I was boiling peanuts outside and we talked and discussed the process until they were done. They are genuine folks that seemed like old friends. They are welcome back anytime.
Greg and his wife were awesome guests. We unfortunately couldn't be there for their arrival due to last minute family obligations. They checked in by text, parked their rig perfectly and were all settled in when we got home. Had a short visit but wished we had more time. Hope they return so we can finally visit properly. Always welcome.
We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Greg & Kathie. Great fun reminiscing about the big NB flood of 1973 that we both experienced as teenagers. We all exchanged some good travel information, places to explore and our mutual enjoyment of boondocking in our retirement. We look forward to meeting up with them again, perhaps we will manage to get together again someday in New Brunswick.
It’s a nice couple and they are very friendly. We had good exchange on rving and travelling experiences. I highly appreciated to have them as guest and I hope to see them again. I recommend Greg.McCkacken as guest anywhere.
We had a great evening chatting away for hours! Sadly we could not see them off on their journey, as we had a very early appointment, but they had great respect for us and our property......we hope they enjoy this new chapter in their lives! Have fun on your trip!!
