We spent the better part of a year getting our new, old trailer (1975 model) ready to be a comfortable full-time tiny home. We are currently traveling full-time enjoying meeting new people and seeing this amazing world. We like to be active, hiking, kayaking or anything that gets us out of doors.
Well, we did 'build' the Airstream pretty much from the floor up. There is little left that is origional and we did all the work ourselves.
We have one medium sized dog named Kota. She might be a Blue Healer/Aussie mix of sorts, but we don't really know. She was a rescue from the shelter and the best friend we could ask for. She makes friends easily with people and pets alike. She enjoys hiking more than we do and is always ready for an adventure. She has been camping with us for 6 years, starting out in a tent like we did. She even has her own backpack and life jacket, so she is ready for adventuring.
We spent 14 days in a beautiful BLM area about 30 minutes north of Phoenix and hated to leave! We are new to this, so I am sure we will have a new 'favorite' site soon.
We just left Nashville where we have lived for quite some time. Nashville is a wonderful place to live or visit, but it was time to see other places. We have our home base there, but only plan to go back when needed. Paulo is origionally from Brazil and we try to get back there every couple of years to see his family.
1975 renovated Airstream Argosy! Our tow vehicle is a V8 Toyota 4 Runner. We are not very big, but we have everything we need to be super happy!
Karyn & Paulo were great Boondockers to host at our home. They stayed with us for 5 days and we thoroughly enjoyed having them stay with us. Karyn was kind enough to fix us dinner one night in our home where we were able to get to know them better and hear about their adventures on the road. We would welcome LivingWithTheEssentials back anytime!
