We have been self-employed in the masonry construction business for many years. Our eldest son is working in the business now, allowing us to travel more.
We recently purchased a four-season Lance travel trailer (our second camper), and we are ready to explore the country!
We enjoy most outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and site-seeing. We prefer to take the path less-traveled when time allows for that.
We like meeting new people and hearing about their travels. We have found that there is nothing better than a personal reference to find a special place to visit!
A third-generation masonry contractor and a retired doula/childbirth educator and medical transcriptionist.
We do not have any pets, but we are comfortable with pets being our guest.
We were fortunate to experience two Boondockers Welcome visits on a recent trip across the country (Colorado and Indiana), and we loved it. Our experiences made us want to become hosts. What a great idea!
We hope to do more boondocking/dry camping/dispersed camping in the future, and as newbies we love to hear about how others are doing this.

We had the pleasure of hosting KevinA. Unfortunately, due to work commitments, we could not visit as long as we would have liked. Some day, would love to come up and see your area; definitely, one of my favorite states in the US... Thank you for the wonderful gift of maple syrup from Vermont. Best wishes, and safe travels!
They only stayed with me for one night on their way to their major destination. They were very polite and quiet. Hopefully they'll be able to visit again sometime. Or, perhaps I'll be able to visit them at their location.
Another wonderful encounter. Came in last evening to a lovely welcome from the homeowners, a relaxing stay on their gorgeous property, and a great cup of coffee and conversation the next morning. What a gem!
Such a sweet couple and were so kind to help us figure out some RV issues! Thank you for hosting us!!
Our stay at Route 2A Stay was great. The host greeted us upon arrival and had a wonderful spot for us to park our rig. The location worked out perfectly for visit to the area! Thank you so much for wonderful accommodations! Highly recommend this host.
Great spot! We had booked only one night as we have only a few weeks to spend a little further south where it should be warmer. KevinA and his wife welcomed us warmly and had no problem with us staying an extra night when a weather bomb hit - we didn't want to travel when it was so wet and WINDY!!
Lovely stay with these BD hosts. They left their porch light on and it was easy to find when we came home in the dark! Excellent suggestions for an evening hike to view the sunset on the lake, great spot to watch sports, and where to find Vermont syrup! We so appreciated the electrical and water. Aren't BD hosts amazing? Every one that we have stayed with have been!
It was a pleasure to meet this great family!
Our stay was very nice and the setting was picture perfect. I only hope we can " return the favor some day soon" and
The site is manicured and immaculate. We were warmly greeted by our hosts and they went well beyond the norm for making us feel welcome. Friendly and accommodating. We hope to be able to stay again. Thanks for your hospitality. This is a must stay site if you are in the area.
I can't say enough amazing things about KevinA and their host spot. I was greeted on the spot with a warm welcome and they helped me (and my pup) get settled and comfortable for the night. The location is beautiful - it feels secluded yet it's right off a main access road. Their property is pristine and they even had an awesome fire pit available for use! They were knowledgable about the area and even gave me some suggestions on where I could take my dog out for a swim close by. Again, can't say enough positive things. We will definitely be back. So grateful for people like this :)
