I left my 9-5 job 2 1/2 years ago to be a more present mom to my kids - and launched my own business (in digital marketing). My husband is a stay-at-home-dad and since my job is location-independent we're taking the family on an indefinite RV trip! We hope to see all 48 contiguous states within the year and look forward to experiencing new places, meeting new people, and introducing our kids to history and geography beyond textbooks!
Meg - digital marketing, entrepreneurship, podcasting, raising entrepreneurial kids, crafty/creative, children's book author, professional speaker
Lou - finance, football, gaming, knows a lot of random facts - you don't want to play a trivia game with this guy (lol)!
We have never boondocked before - this will be our first experience!
Originally from Rochester, NY - our family has been living in Phoenix, AZ for the past 3 1/2 years. In July 2019 we left Phoenix to embark on a year-long full-time RV adventure.

OMG! There just wasn't enough time. I had company when our guests came so I was busy but, we enjoy the short time we had. It was so great to hear children playing in the yard and the dog was so happy to have someone to play with. We look forward to a return trip from this wonderful family!
Nice polite family with a camper full of nice young girls. The kids really enjoyed the yard, swng, and kitties. The parents were really nice to talk to and told us about their journeys. Eveything went really well - we just wish we were able to see them before they left to get them to sign our guest book!
Very nice family, called to update us on their arrival time. The children were polite and enjoyed seeing the animals on our farm. Would host them again.
We enjoyed having TheBrunsons stay with us! They are welcome back anytime! Wishing them happy trails!
We don't often have families stay with us, So glad this family requested a stay. The kids were awesome and well
mannered. It was a delight to have some kids enjoying the outdoors and the campfire. Welcome back anytime.
Safe travels to you folks.
It was a pleasure to meet and host this traveling family. I pray that they have no more issues on their USA adventure! Stay safe
Wonderful young family living the dream. The kids had a great time exploring around the pond. Welcome back anytime.
The Brunsons are a lovely family -- lots of positive energy. The children enjoyed running in the yard and were a delight to meet and interact with. It was a delight to hear of their adventures on the road. They are welcome back any time.
They were great guests, kids had fun on the play set, and large chess set. they spent a fair amount of time visiting DC. Would host again. Good luck on the rest of the journey.
We enjoyed hosting this great family. We were always greeted with smiles and laughter. It was wonderful seeing the children enjoy the playground we have for our grandchildren. So happy when they accepted our invite to stay longer.
These folks were so quiet we didn't know they were here! Nice, well behaved kids, a dog that's very calm, and adults that like to talk, but not too much.
This family is welcome back any time.
We had a really great time hosting this family. We barely heard a peep from them during their stay, and they were really warm and welcoming when we spoke to them. Our neighbor has even mentioned to us how great it was to meet and talk with them and their kids! We wish them luck and safe travels in their awesome journey, and would definitely welcome them back any time they're in the area.
Glad to have you. Hope you don't run into more problems. Safe travels.
It was a short visit. A few mechanical issues, which are always good learning experiences for us. The kids were extremely good, they liked our dogs and the dogs were almost overcome with attention and belly rubs. They took a LONG nap after good bys and Mattie (Matilda) still goes out looking for the camper to see if they are coming back. So, we would look forward to a return visit, especially when you have more time to explore STL. And to hear of your further ventures in RVing.
