We are Full-timers, currently spending time on our 45-acre farm in Western North Carolina during the Spring and Summer, and in the Ft. Myers, Fla area during the Winter season. We love to travel, and have had some sort of RV from the beginning of our 45-year Journey together. Our current RV is a gorgeous, comfortable 3-slide Safari Zanzabar. For about a decade, our home was a 44' Gulfstream MotorSailor, Wake-Robin II. We were completely self-contained, with solar and wind-power, a Refrigeration system that used few amps with amazing room, and ample power to run our computer/internet set-up.
Jerry loves to set up monitors, figure out how to get the most practical charging, whether wind, solar, or generator, and keeps detailed logs to compare. One big difference in land and sea was the free wind that moved our sails quite nicely, even on the wide-body Motorsailor chosen for comfort over maximum performance. Now it's time to maximize the Zanzibar for a Boon-docking trip out west, and eventually through Mexico and Central America to Panama. Rebecca's interests include REFORMING OUR LEGAL AND FINANCIAL SYSTEMS. RV Life is well-suited to her avid research and scholarly pursuits. She participates in CONFERENCE CALLS weekly, and is able to keep up with her interests no matter where her home is. Living in small, efficient spaces has become a way of life for the Copes.
