One of us was originally from the highlands of Haliburton, Ontario and the other was from Canada's capital city, Ottawa. We met at Teachers College in Toronto, married the next year and had two children over the next few years. After a half-career teaching in the Burlington/Oakville area of Ontario, we moved north into "God's Country" (the beautiful lake country of Central Ontario). After retiring near the end of the 1990's, we bought an Airstream trailer and began traveling throughout North America. When not doing so, we remain deeply involved in the lives of our four grandchildren, our Eastern Ontario cottage, the life of our town, church and local clubs, and our special addiction: genealogy.
