Originally a New Yorker living in Atlanta right now. I'm 61 and retired for the last couple of years. My wife has passed and my kids are all grown. My grandson is taller than me...the picture is almost 15 years old. I'll update later.
I'm new to the RV world...brought a 21' Coachman in February and a Jeep Wrangler to boot.
My plans are to visit family in Seattle for the summer and travel the country wherever the coach takes me....maybe Alaska. The route I plan is going west from Atlanta and then north to Seattle....I figure it will be a two or three week trek. It will be my learning experience trip.
I hope to meet some nice folks along the way and see the country from the ground up.
I found this website searching campgrounds and national parks...looking for safe places to boondock in my travels. I only wish I had a place to reciprocate for other on this site....maybe in the future.
Anyway, looking forward to meet some of you good folks out there.
Regards to all,
I was a director of operations and fire safety director for a New York rel estate company in Manhattan, before retiring.
Mostly procedural development stuff for building operations, safety and construction management.
I'm a hell of a golfer...just love the game.
I'm new to boondocking but Alaska is a future goal.
I'm driving a 99 21' Coachman and pulling a jeep wrangler. I'll post a picture later. Nothing weird about it...stock class C and red wrangler.
