We are a family on a service mission. We sold our home in Hawaii, and all 6 of us (4 kids under 12) have moved into a 30ft RV to drive around North America helping people live and die joyfully. More information can be found on our website at GoGracefully.com
We homeschool our children, produce a weekly YouTube video, and frequently engage in educational or service focused efforts to bring awareness to end-of-life issues. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing time and stories with them! In Hawaii we call this "talking story" and this unique practice helps us slow down and refocus priorities—quality human connections.
Our 4x4 Class C RV is completely self-contained and we will rarely need to hook up to anything. A water fill-up is a real gift.
Thank you for your consideration.
Jim is a retired contractor with lots of diverse experience and skills. Leah is a Hula dancer, seamstress, crafter, cook, and educator. The girls love making fairy houses wherever they go.
We have a service dog. She is a female, lab-whippet mix, and extremely friendly and outgoing. Our girls named her Charlie-Chocolate-Chip.
We are full-time RVers who maintain residency in the State of Oregon. Portland to be exact.
Forest River Forester converted to a 4x4. Fully self-contained with 1000 watts of solar and a composting toilet. The tow vehicle is a VW vanagon syncro.
It was a joy to host this loving, friendly, respectful family. They are a delight to talk with. Their children are well behaved. They are welcome back to my home anytime!
Another wonderful stay with the Gogracefully family. Such warm, friendly folks - I recommend them to any host! I hope they find there way back here, as they journey around the US.
We were initially concerned about hosting such a large group, but it has been a wonderful experience! Well behaved, kind children and a dog you hardly know is around. Mom and dad are so nice, sharing RV knowledge and wonderful honey! I hope we have a chance to host them again, and I recommend them to any Boondockers Welcome hosts!
