We are a retired couple in our 70s. We like the outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. Pat is a bird and wildflower enthusiast. We travel in a Lance truck camper in North America and also do a substantial amount of international travel.

We have a 2012 Lance slide-on truck camper that rides on a 2012 Chevrolet pickup. It has one slide out.
Park Ranger graciously welcomed us and we had a very quiet and pleasant night stay. We took a walk in the area which was welcomed after a day of travel. Loved the hills up and down since we were able to get our cardio workout too! For us it was perfect! Thanks so much for your hospitality.
Nice quite little spot close to downtown.
Host was very accommodating when it was apparent I’d be arriving late after enduring a snow storm up on the Blue Ridge parkway. Leveling blocks are needed.
Thanks Terri for sharing your place. A great overlook close to Asheville.
We loved our stay in Asheville! This was a great spot to stay, we went for a nice bike ride from the driveway to the arts district to downtown where we checked out some wonderful breweries. It was a very hilly ride though so be prepared! They were also incredibly nice and gracious hosts. They were wonderful to talk to and gave us some great brewery recommendations. Thanks so much!
Beautiful and safe neighborhood, some steep hills. Very nice and generous hosts even gave us flowers from their garden.
Very welcoming hosts. Really enjoyed our time chatting with them. Not too far from downtown but too far to walk or bike due to the roads required to get to downtown. Uber @ $10 to the center of downtown
Facilities are good. Parking in a driveway. We had enough space to open our side and rear slides of our truck camper. The drive in to the location is quite hilly and the turn into the parking spot is a bit tight. Quite ok for truck campers. Travel trailers and large motor homes should consider carefully if they can get in.
Enjoyed our 2 day stay.
We had a wonderful time in Asheville. Our hosts were expert communicators and had many helpful suggestions for things to see and do in Asheville. The place itself had wonderful mountain views and was very quiet and safe!
ParkRanger was an incredible host. We showed up later than expected and had an easy parking spot for the night. Had a wonderful sleep in the quiet hills. Before we left, we thanked them for a beautiful stay and had a great conversation. Would highly recommend staying here!
These folks live in a beautiful quiet community which begs for one to walk and stretch their legs. No lack of things to do in the area no matter what your interests might be. Very accommodating and friendly people.
Beautifully flowered, secluded, quiet location and so close to the wonderful city of Asheville. Our hosts responded quickly to our requests and gave us helpful info for parking. Very friendly people. Hope to come here again in the future when passing through Asheville.
We were in Asheville for a week and spent our last night here. Our hosts weren't in town, but graciously allowed us to stay with them. We parked directly next to their rig in the driveway which is relatively flat.
They have wonderful gardens surrounding their house and a great deck with a view of the mountains and a golf fairway. We had a drink and dinner on the deck and were treated to a visit by a local raccoon later in the evening as the sun was setting.
We'd definitely consider staying there again when we're back through Asheville and, hopefully, meet our gracious hosts.
Imagine a golf course view with a mountain backdrop beside a pretty garden. And you get to stay overnight! Thanks for welcoming us to your home.
This place is peaceful and beautiful. The host was not at home but we were allowed to use this place. We visited Asheville we loved this city.
Just before we left our hosts returned and we had a very pleasant conversation. We got some beans for our garden in the Netherlands. Very great people. We recommend this beautiful surrounding and friendly hosts.
These dear people were most wonderful hosts. We hope to visit them again. And, like us, they enjoy good, craft beer!
Thanks so much to our hosts for our stay at this wonderful quiet location right near downtown Asheville. It's the perfect boondocking site :).
What an honor and privilege to meet and spend some time with these extraordinary hosts. Please give them your utmost respect ... they deserve it. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for the beautiful respite.
ParkRanger was generous and friendly with his invite but, due to mechanical issues with our unit, we were unable to stay at his home.
Very pleasant exchanges both directions, we were made to feel like a "member of the club" in spite of not being there. Perhaps on another trip.....

Sure the roads are windey getting up there and gps puts you a few houses off but it is an easy find with the numbers provided. It's clearly marked as well. Terry was very communicative before the trip and even made us aware of times they would be home if we needed anything. Hope to return when we have time to enjoy the glorious view and wildlife. While cooking dinner the birds where chirping and a groundhog (or like animal) passed by. Highly recommend if your visiting the area.
We have enjoyed the hospitality of Pat and Terry + the quiet and beautiful surroundings. It was a pity that we have not had more time to talk to each other, but we would also like to see so many of the USA. Sorry, Thanks.
Very nice accommodating folks who gave up their driveway to us, even with a nearly last minute parking request. Such a beautiful quiet spot to. Thanks again Terry and Pat.
-Carl and Karen from NW WA state.
Terry was a wonderful host! He was very accommodating and even allowed me to add an extra night. He invited my brother and me in to his home, and we shared great conversations about our travel adventures. Thank you, Terry, for hosting me!
We had a lovely peaceful time at ParkRanger's. We enjoyed great conversations around travelling with our RV's and shared many of our adventures. Very friendly hosts. Would recommend them.
We spent two nights with Terry and Pat, two inviting, wonderful hosts. It was our first time in Asheville, and their knowledge of the area, and suggestions truly made a difference for us.
They offered us water and electricity on a nice quiet site ....way up an incredibly picturesque, winding mountain road.
Someday, we would love to return to Asheville and to this mountain retreat. Thank you ParkRanger!

The Lee's graciously provided a level driveway spot and 115 volt outlet for our truck camper set up for an overnight stay while passing through Asheville. A wonderful leg stretching walk with beautiful scenic views was also offered and greatly appreciated. We could not have asked for a better first time "boondocker" member experience.
This site offered a nice view overlooking a golf course a quiet neighborhood let us hve a pleasant night’s sleep. Our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Would recommend to others and would return if in the area. Terry is a great host.
Spent one night at Parkranger's spot. Gracious host who gave us great recommendations for things to see in Asheville. Would stay again.
Hard to believe the peaceful, beautiful setting 3 miles from downtown Asheville ! Our hosts were were a joy to meet. We discussed our RV's and travels and it was very interesting. Thank you so much, hope to see you again - here or there !
We stayed one night at Parkranger's place, beautiful quiet neighborhood. Once again we were a bit lost, but our host gave us turn by turn directions that guided us right into his driveway. Thanks again for your hospitality! We went to Hot Springs, NC ( about an hour away) the next day before continuing on our way
We had a great experience staying with Pat and Terry. They are a wonderful couple that were extremely accommodating. They gave us information and recommendations on the area, as well as for future travel destinations. They are in close proximity to downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a pleasure getting to know the two of them and touring the area. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely visit or stay with them again.
Very friendly couple. Quiet setting, lots of trees, and a level parking space.
