Hello there. I'm a music composer/artist moving from the San Francisco area back to Asheville Nc over the spring months of March, April, and perhaps part of May. Sheila is a 34.5 ft. Airstream motorhome that will be home to myself, a friend who'll be making the trip with me, and 2 older Siberian Husky 'family members'. I'm post 50 but pre 60 years and running. I have a love and appreciation for wildlife, the natural resources of our land, cooking with gas, (but not in the motorhome, I disabled the propane) music, art, well meaning people, soft spoken words and raucous laughter...I'm considerate and pick up after myself. My animals Max and Snow are ALWAYS on leash, they are polite, curious, and aging. Well, one is still quite 'spunky' but they both loved the ride across 2 years ago and both did exceedingly well in the coach.
Most of my skills are in the creative arts arena; composing, vocal improvisation, etc. but I'm also a fine organizer, manager, dictator, ...I work well with others. I'm handy on the Macintosh, a fine cook, a believer in solutions so I'm a pretty good problem solver I suppose.
The only Boondocking experience I've had has been my driveway and Luv's parking lot. I'd enjoy an upgrade but I actually have fond memories of both.
Sheila is a 34.5 ft long Class C 1986 Airstream Motorhome. 30 amp AC with a new Onan generator so she's not quite as noisy as she was 2 years ago. There are no slideouts, she has a 454 Chevy engine so you can hear her when she starts. There are no funky exterior decorations and she's a tad faded but on the INSIDE, she's a dream. :) She also sports a few sleek solar panels on the roof.
