We're new to rv'ing, recently retired and spending more time in the States. We're based on Vancouver Island, and have a 24ft motorhome.
Keith is originally from London England, and Robyn from Toronto, we've traveled abroad in several countries and have grown kids. We're pretty quiet, and like biking and hiking, and meeting new people.
We both worked at a Vancouver college, now like trying new interests and rural life.
We enjoy swapping travel stories, and really need to learn the basics of RV'ing.
I've worked in many different countries, and we take an interest in current affairs.
We enjoy Vancouver Island and the West Coast, also travelled in the Western USA
Comox Valley, a pretty seaside/mountain community of 65,000.
28ft class "C" motorhome, 2014 model, one slideout, pretty ordinary but much loved.
A pleasure to chat a bit. Glad we could provide a landing spot and wish Keith and Robyn well in their adventure south. They communicated well and their vehicle fit comfortably in our drive.
Keith and Robyn stayed with us for 1 night. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and a nice visit getting to know them this morning before they left. We would happily host them any time in the future and we let them know that. There’s no reason anyone should hesitate to accept them as Boondockers when requested.
These boondockers were great guests and it was a pleasure to meet new Canadian friends. They are welcome back anytime.
Keith and Robyn were very respectful guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and spend time discussing good places to explore. We would be happy to host them again sometime.
GREAT to meet Keith (good to hear my native ‘Larndn’ accent again!) and Robyn, who were very communicative and considerate. Don’t let ‘em fool ya – they seem to know more about many RV destinations than their "new to rv’ing" claim suggests! ;-) Cool to chat with them and hope they have another chance to drop by in future with a bit more time. Totally recommended! Dave’n’Kim, California.
We had a pleasant stay with Keith and Robin. They were so friendly and welcoming, provided us with electric, invited us in for coffee, great conversation. And an added bonus is the view of the ocean. We would definitely stay again.
Thanks for the welcome. The many travel tips and the delicious apples and blackberries from your garden. This special place that this particularly nice people like to share with us, we take in the form of driving logs to Europe.
Thanks Robert and Nelleke from the Netherlands
If I stayed another day I would not leave and claim squatters rights! (LOL) I had a wonderful time with 2 days of absolutely amazing mountain biking and great conversation. The views from my Rig were just outstanding with a gorgeous sunset sky and deer walking by in the late evening with a Bald Eagle resting at Tree top. What a dream come true. Thank you so much!
