I'm a easy going person excited to meet new people. My wife and I travel quite frequently around the world, usually scuba diving.
*FYI
I believe we are being lied to regarding the current virus. It is hugely exaggerated, causing great fear among the world"s population. There is a hidden agenda. Please watch this video. (https://www.bitchute.com/video/vCxlPDL6qsxj/) If it makes sense I would love to have you stay with us. If you're believing the news media and are wearing a mask, while driving alone, In the shower etc. you're probably better off staying somewhere else. I like to meet my guests and see their smile.
I'll show you the most awesome sweet animals on the planet.
A few, LOL. Currently we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 22 chickens, 12 Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys and 3 horses. We travel with 2 of our dogs.
I have not "boondocked" yet, I only have hosted.
We live in Moapa Valley, Nevada. A small rural town near the Valley of Fire and Lake Mead.
The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. He is a most interesting person and we enjoyed seeing his animals. Great experience.
What a wonderfully quiet two nights! And so close to the Valley of Fire State Park! The state park is a must place to see when the temps are cooler! Thankfully, we had wonderful weather.
Our hosts were most gracious and have lots of horses and donkeys for one to get acquainted with! We did not get to play with them due to our schedule, so are planning a return visit!
Their place is easy to find, easy to back into, level ... just overall great! We hope to return soon! 🤠 🤗
having a great time. Close to lake and valley of fire park. safe and quiet.
We really enjoyed our time with Wally and seeing his many dogs, burros, and horses.
Also, a great place to get in a visit to Valley of Fire State Park which is only 20 minutes away.
We had a great time visiting the ranch and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The drive out to Moapa Valley along Lake Mead is also well worth it. Lots of parks nearby for hiking if that is up your alley.
We spent a night on the way to Zion. Loved it. My 7 told got to ride the donkey, my 15 yold and I to ride the bikes in some trials. Wally was great.
We are thankful for Wally and his family to allowed us to stay at their beautiful ranch. Make sure you check out the donkeys and they are adorable and super friendly. Thanks again Wally I hope we can meet up again, definitely will come back whenever I’m on the area. For our family this is really pleasure meeting this beautiful family. 🤙
Gracious welcoming host. Spectacular views and BLM lands to exercise our dog off leash. 5 stars. Thanks
We had a wonderful stay on a nice, quiet, level spot for the night. Since we were next door to BLM open space, we had nice walks with our dog. We also really enjoyed visiting with the host’s horses and donkeys! Thank you for a great stay!
If you leave the Happy Gates Ranch without petting the donkeys you definitely missed a great experience. I spend a few days with Wally Gater's family during corona time and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. I even got the chance to brush a donkey and sit on a horse. I hope we'll see again very soon. Thanks for everything guys!
We stayed at Happy Gates for one night with plans to visit Valley of Fire State Park, which is very close by. W greeted us and provided a nice, level spot to park our rig and even provided 15 amp power. W was a wonderful host and gave us a tour of his delightful ranch. We enjoyed meeting his beautiful dogs, horses and adorable miniature donkeys. W also let us leave our rig while we toured the park, and for that, we are very grateful. This is a wonderful BW location with a very kind and interesting host. Thank you, W, for your incredible hospitality!
Wally and Kathy are very kind and gracious hosts. We are grateful for having the opportunity of meeting and petting their very sweet and intelligent animals (dogs, horses, donkeys). We hope to visit the Ranch again in the future. Thank you Wally and Kathy!
Perfect Hospitality, helped us Camping Newbies so much in every case.
Sweetest donkeys, dogs and horses ever.
Wally and his family are really amazing hosts!
Ever again <3
Thanks Wally for everything
