I live in San Diego with my wonderful husband of 26 years and our two daughters, one bad dog, and two scaredy cats. We are new to the RV/camping world. We just bought our first travel trailer last Saturday, January 12, 2013. We're excited to get in it and go. For my 50th birthday this year, I'm going to take a trip across the country. I was very excited to find out about boondocking and especially being able to park on people's properties. I think that's such a great way to meet new people and find out about the area they live in....the real area, not the touristy part. Looking forward to meeting you on my "journey."
Haven't been able to boondock yet, I'm but look forward to it. Just bought our first travel trailer, so it's only been in our driveway. I even love it there because I get to "escape." :)
We have a 28' Keystone Zeppelin with one slide out. But if I measure the trailer, it's 24' and the tongue is 4', so I don't really know which measurement to give people. Does anyone know?
