Happily married couple, retired (wife still works, ha!), 3 kids, 11 grands, enjoy guitar, singing, gardening, beekeeping, camping, biking, hiking, traveling, involved with church work.
I have minor repair skills with some tools.
2 outdoor cats, they do not travel with us.
Central Alabama location 15 miles NE of Birmingham on I59 and I459. This location is a bedroom community for those who work in the Birmingham area. But we're about 7 miles from Leeds, which is where the Barber Sports racetrack is and we're about 50 miles from Talladega Racetrack.
2020 Salem Forest River 27RE, 33' from tongue to back. I tow with a 2011 Ram, 19'
Great overnight guests. Good communication. It was a pleasure sharing my little corner of the world with Waidsworld.
Hosts were very welcoming, had a hose and power cord sitting out waiting for us when we arrived. Parking in their circle drive was nice and level. It's a shame we're in a pandemic; it would be fun to get to know our hosts better, but such is life right now.
Another awesome BW stay! Beautiful neighborhood setting in central Alabama. Perfectly level spot in their circlular drive. They let us hook up to their 15 amp and water which was very much appreciated. Hosts were absolutely lovely people. We sat with them under the big trees to escape the afternoon heat and enjoyed an hour of great conversation. In the morning they invited us to a cup of coffee and more lively conversation sharing stories about camping and life. Great people! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BOONDOCKERS WELCOME!
Host was great ,wish we could of meet the better half (LOL) she was out of town. Keep the wheels pointed down . Good stories good fellowship.
Wonderful hosts. Steve & Davy make Boondockers Welcome a great facility while on the road.
Lovely, wonderful hosts. Easy access with a circle drive. Nice and flat. A quick overnight for us, but would love to stay here again and explore Birmingham.
Good place to stay and host had us park on the grass so the oak tree acorns wouldn’t fall on our RV all night in the side driveway. Very helpful and good 15 or 20 amp electric provided. Rigs longer than 30’ might be challenged turning into the driveway.
