I work in the RV industry and am converting an old Greyhound bus into our motor home. My wife also works for the RV industry. We travel most weekends during the spring through fall, and try to get in a long trip in July. We are raising one of our grandsons who is full of energy.
I am building my own motor home from a retired bus, having done most of the work myself, I have a handle on most RV systems.
We have a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix.
Milford, IN
We are converting a retired Greyhound bus. We are self contained and don't require hookups most of the time. We two a Jeep on most of our trips.
We had a great time with Scott332 visiting. He helped us with a minor issue on our camper (Mostly operator failure!) and as always we learned a little more about life on the road in an RV. Loved the bus they are converting.
They joined us for for our first BBQ at our private campground with some of our family but the night ended too quickly.

This place was so peaceful. We were parked on the side of the barn with view of a creek. I will put this at the top of my list to go back to. The family was extremely nice and our stay enjoyable. I can’t say enough about this location.
Make sure and enter from the west. Host very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Recommend.
I was wrong on what date I requested. Will be sending another request. To this point nothing but positive communications with the host.
Scott332 was a great Host. Very intelligent, generous and very helpful. We had a lot of time to get to know each other.
Scott332 is practicing social distancing and masking during this crazy Covid normal. He allowed me to overstayed. All I can say is great Host, and great new friend. Thanks Scott332!
Beautiful surroundings and property. Scott332 was very nice and greeted us right when we pulled in. Very accommodating and a great overall experience. Would highly recommend!
Scott332 was very gracious with answering my questions and coming out to greet us when we arrived and helping us get settled in the spot for some power and so the farm equipment could still get through. We stayed for one night and had a good night of sleep. Some train noise in the background, loud enough to recognize it was happening, but not so much as to keep me awake. Scott332 allowed us to hang over into the next afternoon as we were getting some modifications done locally and they weren’t ready for us until late afternoon. We appreciated the opportunity to stay and have a restful, safe place to relax. We would recommend this place. Thanks Scott332 for your hospitality!
Scott was very responsive. Hookups for power where easily accessed. Very grateful for the hospitality. We were able to get a good night's sleep and get back on the road in the next day well rested.
The host was kind and helpful. Being from out of town, our directions are a bit off as to which way to enter from, but we took the back roads and had some issues with our entrance. Make sure to follow their guideline for entering the property. The night was cool and peaceful. Even got to see some wildlife swimming in the nearby creek. There is a train off in the distance, but it wasn't anything a little white noise couldn't take care of. We literally slept through the night. Wonderful little stop.
Enjoyed our two night stay. The location is perfect for visiting the Amish countryside. We were greeted by Scott and he was very helpful!.
07/15/20-07/16/20 Hosts and family were fantastic. Had some interesting conversation about farm life and other business interests. The space is nice and level. Easy to get in and out of. Any size rig can fit in this location. There is a nice creek near the parking area. Farm fields abound. Overall, this is a very quiet location not too far from town. If you have an RV problem, the Shipshewana RV Trading Places Service Center is about 45 minutes away. Highly recommended. There are also Amish communities around. The host graciously provided 50A service. It takes a 30’ cord to reach the RV. 25’ would be tight. We arrived just ahead of a rain event. The ground is hard enough to still get out without a problem. Verizon service here is 4 bars without the range extender. With the OK from the Host, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.
Thank you for letting us stay at your place. What a great site.
Nice location amongst the corn fields. Great host who is quite knowledgeable on rv & bus technology. Had lots to talk about & I really enjoyed the stay. High quality electric hookup that came in handy with the heat. Hope to stay again if in the area.
Excellent stay with scott332. They were away for the weekend and I had a relaxing pleasant visit by the creek and slept great! Thanks
I was greeted by the host when I arrived. A great place to spent the night!
Scott332 is a gracious host and super responsive. Space is beautiful and so peaceful! Perfect place to unwind along your travels. Easy in and out with 50 amp electric available. Stayed 2 nights and would definitely come back when in the area.
Thanks to this wonderful, sweet couple! We enjoyed talking to them (socially distanced, of course). We were thankful to be able to stay on this beautiful property as campgrounds are still closed. Good luck working on the bus!
Scott met us when we got there. He showed us were to park on a quiet working farm. It was a perfect spot, shielded from the wind. Would love to stop back again to visit the town's in the area.
Great area, easy in and out.
Recommend staying there.
Thank you for letting us stay at very late notice. We were heading back to drop off the motorhome before flying back to Australia, so a relaxing stay with you was just what we needed :) Hopefully next time we will have the chance to get to know each other a little more.
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stop at this spot. Our host was friendly and hospitable. After a week of Indian Summer, a sharp cold wind picked up and the outdoor temp was 32° when we awoke. Although slide-outs are permitted, we kept ours in. Our first BDW experience was snug and cozy. Closed up as we were, the train was merely a pleasant nostalgic whisper that didn't interrupt our sleep. Thank you for your kindness!
Wow what a perfect 2 nights to unwind after a long work camping season. Beautiful property. Easy in and out and the electric was an added bonus. The host was friendly and AJ (the dog) was very nice! Thanks for making our first bw stay so nice.
It was a beautiful site. Family extremely helpful and have beautiful property with a stream. Hope we can stay again should our travels bring us back.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.
We stayed a couple of nights with scott332. The area is beautiful to ride on our motorcycle. The host provided a 30amp connection offered H2O and gave some good advice for a RV dump just down the road. There is some train noise during then night but didn't bother us. Would stay again if in the area.
Thanks, Monroe
Great place for a quiet and relaxing stop next to a beautiful creek with a spectacular sunset. In the country away from built up area, our host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about all things RV.
Hosts were camping the day we arrived; we were gone for the entire day the following day, then left the next morning. Very little contact with hosts, so can't really comment on them. Friendly and quick responses through the website. Details of where to park were accurate and helpful. The only thing I wish we would have known ahead of time is that there is a very active train track a short distance from the property. The rumble isn't a bother to us, but there is a road crossing and the trains all blow their safety horns at the crossing. This went on through the night and into the early morning hours. If you are light sleepers, this may not be the place to stay. If you're heavy sleepers or enjoy the train hons, this is perfect for you.
We had a wonderful day/night here. From the klippity klop on the horses pulling buggies down the road to the nice level site with plenty of room to set up, we had a very relaxing boondock. Thank you Scott332 for allowing us this opportunity.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The hosts were welcoming and greeted us upon arrival This is a very nice place surrounded by lush crops and has a very nice creek running along side it. It was a very level parking spot.
We had a nice view of the open skies with crops all around us. This was a very lush green place that easily accommodated us. Our host was helpful and kind.
Great hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating. I feel they went above and beyond to help me feel welcomed. The property is lovely and the sunset and sunrise were awesome.
We really enjoyed our stay. Nice spots that are close to Syracuse, Milford and Nappanee. Would certainly stay here again.
Scott332 replied to our request right away and welcomed us. He met us when we arrived and helped get us parked. It is a beautiful place with a creek and lots of room. Very peaceful and relaxing. We very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.
In short they make you feel like welcome family member! Great accommodations (a slice of farmland heaven)!
