Do you know or have you hosted this user?

Hi there! I'm Melissa. I am about to begin my last year of vet school in the Fall of 2019, so I am spending my whole summer traveling in my camper, since it will likely be my last chance to travel long-term! I travel with my fiancé, Danny, who is also a vet student. We always bring our dog, Mrs. Beasley, a sweet, older beagle that (despite being a beagle) rarely barks. We also travel with our lizard, Gary, but he never leaves the trailer, so you won't even know he is there, unless you want to meet him! He is very friendly and sweet. We are very positive, laid back people, and we love meeting new people on our travels!

Skills & Expertise to Share

I grew up on a farm, and my boyfriend and I both have extensive large animal experience. If you have any animals and need help on the farm, we would LOVE to lend a hand. We also absolutely love dogs and can let your dogs out and walk them if you need it :)

melissa5's Pets

Yes, I always travel with my 7 year old spayed female beagle, named Mrs. Beasley. She is shy and scared of new people, but once you give her a treat, she is your best friend! We also travel with our lizard, Gary, but he never leaves the trailer, so you won't even know he is there, unless you want to meet him! He is very friendly and sweet.

Great Young people full of energy

It was awesome visiting with these two young veterinarians in training. To see the younger generation making great decisions was awesome. We really enjoyed our short visit. Talking all things animals and meeting their tegue!

Melissa and Danny were wonderful, they liked the animals and they were respectful, neat and clean. They are welcome back anytime. Hopefully they will settle close by when they get out of school. Highly recommended for any locations along the way.

Very enjoyable visit!

We had a great time hosting melissa5! They were very interesting to talk to - only wish we had more time to visit! Their pets were very well behaved - hardly knew they were there. They are welcome anytime they’re in the area - would love to host them again!

Friendly and fun couple

Melissa and Danny are a friendly, nice couple on a fun trip before hunkering down to finish Vet School. They are quiet and adventurous, wanting to have new experiences and see the country, especially the mountains and it's wildlife. They are welcome to come back anytime, we'd love to host them again.
