We are John & Debbie Liberty.. Full time crafters. We own a little farm up in central Maine. We do metal craft. We very much enjoy traveling in our little toy hauler. Boondocking is actually part of our business plan. Some of the shows we do, we do well. Some not so much. So try to keep our expenses as low as possible. Many of the shows we do allow us to park on site. But some do not and that's where Boondocking comes in. We do not smoke. We do not drink. We just need a quiet place to stay out of the way. We do have a invertor generator, which is quiet. We typically run this about an hour in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening just to charge the battery.
John was a construction worker for 35 years. Ran a farm raising pasture raised pork and beef for a farmers market for years. Started doing metal craft 15 years ago to work my way out of construction. Learned alot about marketing. But mostly learned how to respectfully treat people as I would want to be treated.
Debbie was a stay at home mom for many years raising our kids to be self reliant and succesful. Now that our kids are grown and gone, this is something that both of us can do together.
Craft fairs, churches, town halls, ball fields, but our favorite is Cabelas/Bass Pro Shop. We try to avoid truck stops. We do stay there occasionally. but they are noisy.
Corinna, Maine. Which is 35 miles Northwest of Bangor, Maine. We actually live on a back dirt road which can be pretty rough when not graded. We actually want to host other RVers and currently working on a spot that is accessible.
We have a 24' toy hauler and a super duty F-350 pick up.
We had the pleasure of hosting Libertyfarmandforge. This is exactly the type of couple that we enjoy hosting. We enjoyed the short time we got to talk with them. Would love to have them come back anytime they are in the area. Awesome to see the works of art they have. Safe travels.
These are hard working folks that parked their trailer while displaying at a local craft fair over a hot summer weekend. They are very nice and just needed a safe and quiet place to get some rest. I'm glad to offer a little help to people like Libertyfarmandforge. They are welcome back anytime.
Didn't have a ot of time to spend with them. Very interestin couple. Hoping to boondock at there location this summer.
