My wife teaches high school and I am a former personnel consultant and current guitar builder. In anticipation of our pending retirements, we purchased a Class B rv (a Pleasure-Way Lexor FL), in order to travel a bit more, primarily to see our extended families across North America. When not working or planning our next trip with our Pleasure-Way campervan, we enjoy astronomy and singing in a community choir, as well as being grandparents.
As I build guitars, I know a fair bit about them - steel-string flat-top acoustics in particular. Both my wife and I speak a bit of German. She also has some French. We're also quite avid astronomers, being members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
We're pretty new to boondocking. When we have camped in the past, it was primarily in national or provincial parks. But if we're travelling a great distance and just want a good night's sleep before we continue our journey, I suspect we'd be quite content to park our Class B in a driveway or backyard.
We live in Orleans, Ontario, a suburb of Ottawa.
A Class B rv. A Pleasure Way Lexor FL (20 ft 11 in long, and 9'4" high). Fully-contained with a washroom and grey and black holding tanks.
We shared our common interests and guitar playing and at a social distance we enjoyed two evenings of singing and playing. We hope they will pass this way again so we can enjoy more music together
AtHomelnOrleans est venu chez nous au mois de juillet mais j’ai oublié de faire la référence. Sorry. Je n’hésite pas à vous recommander de recevoir AtHomelnOrleans, ils sont sympathiques et respectueux.
