Both retired "corporate" types. Husband retired engineer. Wife retired manager. Early 60's. Have no kids but one dog, a golden retriever named Sophie. Theresa has Lyme disease and that has temporarily curtailed traveling. She warns everybody to be especially careful about ticks and hiking in the woods. Use proper protection. Lyme disease is transmitted by tick bites and is hard to cure if left untreated.
Husband good with computers and anything engineering related. Wife good with planning, finding all the "good sites" online for camping info.

Phil and Theresa are awesome. We arrived later than we wanted, and once we got all settled they invited us in to chat on our adventures and gave us some great tips on places to camp that we never even knew about! The property they have is stunning, definitely recommend backing in from the street if you can. We had a 26ft travel trailer. Thank you guys again. Wil visit again soon!
People that "GIVE" also "GET". Rver's that invite "strangers" to enter their life routine are very special people and so are Phil and Theresa. It was our pleasure to meet and share some time with this great couple. Thank you very much.
This was my families first boondocking experience and PhilandTheresa did not disappoint. What wonderful kind people. They were kind enough to invite us in for a chat and we shared some hilarious RV and travel stories and learnt from their experiences. We had a electric hook up and the place was lovely and quiet. They were so kind with my 10 year old daughter and we would not hesitate to recommend these lovely lovely people.
Phil and Theresa are very gracious hosts. We enjoyed our very short stay and wished we would have had more time to visit with them and their beautiful Golden. We hope they will stop to see us when they head north at some point. Beautiful rural setting, level parking, highly recommended by Gary, Janet and Riley!
Our stay with Phil & Theresa was our first Boondockers Welcome experience and we couldn't have asked for more. Both are wonderful people who made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with them in the evening. As full-timers coming out of 2 months in the BC bush country, it was great to just chat with someone different. The site is level, easy access to the 101 highway and Phil offered both water and 30A hookup if we should need it. Best of all, he gave us a great tip on controlling condensation with the Eva-Dry dehumidifiers; I just ordered 2! Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully we will meet up somewhere in the future. Phil & Theresa were so kind. They have a great spot on their property. Nice & level, easy to get into with good access to water & electric. Very quiet night. Highly recommended! Beautiful area! Thanks for hosting us!
Phil and Teresa were very friendly and shared some great ideas with us. It was a very easy, comfortable and welcoming stay. The immediate vicinity offers many things to see and do. Phil and Teresa were great hosts and would be great guests as well. We hope to see them again. Ahintz64.
Phil and Theresa could not have been more welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local area. Close to town the property has expansive mountain views.
Theresa and Phile were very accomdating when I provided the wrong date of our arrival - thank you! Even tho they were going to be out at the time of our arrival they provided great directions and greeted us when they got home. We didn't have a chance to visit too much since we left early. We felt at home and comfortable at their place - and it's quite beautiful with a view of the mountains.
