Very very nice guests. Really enjoyed having them stay on our property. Loved their Rig, a BlueBird, really awesome! We would love to have them stay again.
Fantastic guest that we would be happy to host anytime! And they have a very cool rig!!
Had a wonderful time visiting for the short time we were able to spend together. They were very patient and understanding when I greeted them and showed them where to park and then ran off to deal with water backing up in our basement. I was able to spend a couple hours later taking and heating about their travels and experiences. We visited briefly the next morning and showed them around the property and wish them save travels as they headed home. Would absolutely host them again, and if we ever get into traveling like we are hoping, will certainly make sure to visit their hosting location.
It was a pleasure meeting Dick and Janice. They were such wonderful hosts. I enjoyed taking a tour of his bluebird bus that he has tricked out with all sorts of lithium and other gadgets. Thank you for being wonderful hosts.
It was great to meet a professional driver. Yes I took your advice and the easy route East.
We enjoyed our stay here while exploring the area. Plenty of room on the property for walks. We found a beautiful old barn being reclaimed by Mother Nature and toured Dick’s converted school bus. We really appreciated the electric hookup as it was very warm during our stay and we needed air conditioning.
Spent two nights here and enjoyed the peacefulness of his 20 acre parcel and the history with it. The bus conversion had some very interesting technical aspects to it. You can tell the hosts enjoys his project. Luckily there was plenty of power to accommodate our unit and allow us to run our AC as it was very warm. Thanks for your hospitality. Stop by and visit them.
Our visit was for only one night but our host was friendly and accommodating. The remodel on his school bus was fantastic. Easy to find and easy to back in. 😀
This was not far off of I-69 (my route home) and easy to find -- but definitely need to get there before dark as there are no lights and some of the roads are narrow. Dick met me and we chatted briefly - it was rainy and cold so I was glad for a safe and QUIET place to stay in the Fort Wayne area. Good night's rest Thank you.
Thank you so much for your hospitality. We only had one night to stay but I think we connected on a much deeper level. I love making friends this way. Good luck with the bus. I was thinking about a stop for your awning. Why not use just a ribbon cable that will easily wrap around the roller and two contacts on the end that will be pressed up against the roller when the awning is closed but will open as soon as the awning isn't pressing on it. Anyway good luck and if your travels take you this way, don't forget to call and stop in to see us.
We had a great stay at this couples place. Interesting discussions around the campfire, we enjoyed our time, would go back anytime.
Very nice hosts and property to park at for the night. We enjoyed learning about the bus renovation work being done and Cooper esp enjoyed the extra attention.
This is a great location. The hosts were great and it was awesome talking to Richard about our military service. He also provided some valuable mechanical information. I was impressed what he has done to his bus.
Only overnighting, enjoyed talking to somewhereinusa. Could have visited longer. Hope to come by again. Generous and friendly hosts.
We appreciate this quiet place after a long trip from Québec and we were lucky to see the beautiful birds around.
Due to adverse weather conditions, we arrived after dark, and had little time to socialize, but were warmly hosted, helped to set up, and supplied with electricity. As our hosts had an early appointment,we left as quietly as we could. I did have opportunity to see the motor home, which is quite amazing, and technically impressive. Many thanks!
Very nice people in a very beautiful old farm. We only wished we could stay longer. Highly recommended as hosts or guests!

It's a beautiful safe and quiet place. They are welcoming and frendly.
We enjoyed to speak with them. They were very good host, we recommend this place
We arrived after dark and were heartily welcomed. It was our first boondocking stop couldn't have been more comfortable and quiet. (We slept much later than we usually do!)
We got a tour of the amazing bus that is being renovated and had a some fun with the smart and lively dog that they are justifiably proud of. We were also graciously offered a plug-in for the night.
Quick to respond and very accommodating, I'd recommend a stop to see these very nice people.
Had a wonderful time here. They were very welcoming and friendly. They have two Border Collies that are loveable and accepted our Aussie readily. The area is peaceful and beautiful. I would recommend this place heartily.
This was our very first boondockers stay. Dick and his wife are very friendly and accommodating We enjoyed our 2 night stay and visited the Vice Presidents Museum in nearby Huntington IN.
This site sits in a small valley. Using the driveway loop we backed in next to the house and in front of the owners bus-to-camper conversion project. This particular site was nearly level (there are options). The hosts are pleasant and accommodating. This was the first day of our long trip and it could not have begun any better. We give this the highest recommendation.
