I like to hike, sketch and watercolor, paddle, bike and just hang out in beautiful places.

Skills & Expertise to Share

I'm a fair hand with computers - was a programmer for years.
If you want a portrait of yourself and can sit still for 30 minutes or so, I can catch a good likeness.
I feed most of my friends, so they at least think I'm a fair cook. But, on the road I try to keep it simple - so the focus is on local produce and simple preparations.

Favorite Boondocking Locations

Just starting to think about boondocking. I've traveled a lot in Oregon, Washington and some in Idaho and Utah. I did find a couple of very pretty dispersed campsites just outside Sisters, OR - a couple of miles from the Metolius River - one in a lovely meadow area and another higher up with a view of 3 Mountains but haven't camped at either one yet.

2006 17' Escape Travel Trailer pulled by a 2005 Honda Pilot EX-L. This is a very light molded fiberglass trailer - very simple so most everything works reliably while being very comfortable for camping with or without a 'power bush' nearby.
