We're a family with four boys, plus mom and dad. We hope to travel before the kids are too old. We're just trying to figure out how to make it happen. We would love to host travelers and hear their stories of adventure.
My husband has a lot of handyman and mechanical skills, and he's getting some practice on RV repair with our not-so-new rig. He's definitely got a lot of tools that could be put to use.
We just bought a 1996 Cruise Master by Georgieboy this summer. We're still getting to know her. Haven't boondocked yet.
We live in Virden, IL on historic Route 66 in the Land of Lincoln.
We own a class A 1996 Cruise Master by Georgieboy with no slides. We're still getting to know her. Of course, getting an older rig means mishaps. Here she is on our first attempt at a weekend away. Getting towed home after the alternator went out 25 miles from home. Our boys LOVED the jumbo tow truck, our pocketbook didn't.
Thank you for staying on your driveway. It was an pity, there were so many bugs, so we didn't talk much, but we had an good and safe night. Mia & Clemens
I so enjoyed staying at Mary's place! Their boys are delightful and they were all very welcoming! I took a long walk in Virden and really enjoyed the park and town square. Great Boondocking spot!
I stayed at marybright's for two nights, my first stay through BDW. It was a great experience. They were very welcoming and friendly, and helpful with directions for my day of sightseeing. I enjoyed my stay with them. Thanks!
We Boondocked with Mary and Matt and the boys for one night. What a lovely family! The twins were very interested in the operation of the Slide Out and the levelers! What a lovely spot and we got to see the million dollar sun rise peaking over the corn fields. Mary and Matt provided us with electric hookup and water was available. There is enough room in their yard to turn the RV around. We were their very first Boondockers. Robert and Pattie PS: Pattie is now knitting rounds! Thanks Mary
