We are recently retired and have begun our cross country adventures. We both worked long and rewarding careers and are eager to do a lot of exploring and a little relaxing.
My husband can pitch modified and fast-pitch softball, weed wack, do dishes and laundry like no other husband can. I can build things, sew, paint and ride horses.
We don't travel with pets, although we sold our horse farm - where we had goats, pigs, horses, dogs and cats - in order to be able to live out our travel plans. Some of our animals now live with my daughter and her husband on their farm.
We haven't ever boondocked. We are excited to try it in the fall of 2019.
We are from western New York where we were farmers as well as holding down careers. Most recently we hail from Jamestown, NY where we park our Outlaw during the summer. During the winter months we have stayed near Hilton Head island in South Carolina. My husband loves playing slow pitch ball there, and I love riding my bike!
Hi! We have a 38' Outlaw. It is higher than most class A motorhomes at 13'3". We tow a four door jeep wrangler behind our rig for a total of 55'. Although we can quickly unhook the jeep and park it wherever there is room.
Firstly, we're jealous of cougarlou, since they are just starting on a long trip around the country... something we're planning to do in just short of 2 years from now.
We unfortunately did not get to meet them in person, as we were not at the property during their stay. However, their communication was superb and everything went perfectly smoothly (well, except for the tornado warning, which nobody had control over). :)
They have a beautiful, clean, well-maintained rig, and a cool Jeep tow vehicle. Traveling in style!!
We hope they consider staying again sometime, and we hope it's a time that we can meet them in person!
