We are both retired and enjoy hanging out with our 10 grandkids and traveling. We have been tent campers until last year when we bought our first camper (Class B).
Suwannee County, Florida, where we have a home in the middle of a few hundred acres, is home to hundreds of springs. There are many great places to canoe, kayak, and hike. We have a covered pad where we house our Pleasure Way Ascent and it has a 30 Amp outlet that you are welcome to use. The limerock circular driveway is narrow, but plenty of room for Class B. We don't have a dumpsite, but there are some nearby.
Hubby lives to hunt deer and turkey.
Wife's interests include grandkids, friends, traveling, sewing, reading, biking, hiking, kayaking, gardening, birding.....any outdoor activity.
We have a Boykin Spaniel (JennyJo) and a cat (MyKitty); we only travel with the dog.
Well, we did boondock in Wyoming and near Grand Tetons. Most of our camping experiences have been in state and national parks.
We lie in Live Oak, Florida (about 1/2 an hour from the Georgia border, 90 miles east of Tallahassee, an hour west of Jacksonville, an hour north of Gainesille).
We have a 19.5 foot Pleasure Way Ascent. That's a Class B on a Sprinter Chassis. We also have a small dog, a Boykin Spaniel. Actually, we bought her from Pat Watts in Leesville, SC. We are traveling to a wedding in West Virgina and only need an overnight stay on our way.
I didn't realize you were leaving early...was going to give garden tour. Sorry I missed you. Hope your stay was pleasant.
So enjoyed our conversation! Such nice people and a great place to stay. It really is in a lovely wooded area. Very private. They even offered me a hose and a bucket to clean the "love bugs" off my RV!
Great stay. Wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed spending time with and conversing with our hosts. This is a great place and would highly recommend. We look forward to the opportunity to return. It would be so nice to see them again.
Very Peaceful and relaxing location. The host were both super friendly and kind. Loved the conversation we had the first day I was there. Wish we could have visited more. I would love to stay here again next time im in the area. Also very cute and sweet dog.
Thanks again for the great stay
We had the opportunity to speak with this couple for over an hour. They are great people and great hosts as well. We highly recommend!
It was a pleasure to meet both Arlo and Lila , they have a very nice spot off the beaten trail and have created a beautiful place there in the woods . Thanks for sharing that space folks .
Rei and Jackie
Rissmal are the perfect hosts, they treated us like family and we loved staying in their location. Super quiet, calm and serene, and L even took Marc out kayaking which he loved!
If you get a chance to stop by, go see Rissmal, you will not be disappointed by their lovely charm and kindness.
If we are ever in the area again you can count on us coming back over to see you both! (Can you still adopt us haha!)
We can’t say enough good things about Rissmal and our time with them. They were warm and welcoming! We enjoyed our time visiting with them about RV life and family, and would return if we are in the area again. Thank you both for making sure we were comfortable and taken care of even though our stay was short!
Wonderful hospitality with a beautiful scenery. They treated me just like family.
Thoroughly was pampered by these hosts. They had a nice, level, sturdy spot for my rig along with 30A plug and a roof! They had snacks and friendly pets and even some interesting wildlife for me to enjoy.
Thank you for opening your home to this boondocker/traveller.
Nothing bad to say, just wanted to let you know host is looking to update. I asked with my 35' 5th wheel, which is too large. Unsure about the new requirements.
