My wife & I spend as much time on the road as possible - more after retirement

Hello,

My wife and I are avid, life-long campers. We started with tent camping, and over the years we've gotten more and more into comfort! We had a small class A for 5 years, but we recently traded it in for a new 2019 Tiffin Allegro. We have just a few more years until retirement, and we plan to full-time for about 75% of the year. We travel with a yellow Labrador Retriever, my wife's medical alert service dog. We love to meet new people -- especially those who share a passion for camping!

woodcarver4187's Hometown

We call the small town of Newport, NC home. It's on the mainland side of Emerald Isle. Sadly, our home was destroyed by Hurricane Florence, and we are still working through the rebuilding process. We typically spend Tuesday-Thursday in the Northern Virginia area -- at least until we retire!

Wood Carvers Stay

We enjoyed hosting Wade and Sharon. We were away most of their stay attending a granddaughter’s softball tournament. Found them to be very friendly and responsible campers. I would also like to thank Wade for his 24 years of service to our country.
