I just spent the past nearly six months converting my 2019 Ram Promaster 2500 cargo van into a self contained RV and am beginning my solo journey into the adventure of my life time this June.
I was born and raised on the Central Oregon Coast, am a fine artist and writer who loves getting off the beaten path to explore the wild, peaceful beauty of nature and am excited about seeing and spending time in places I have never seen or been before.
Well, I guess my skills are varied. I am a bit of a Technology geek and am also a retired fine artist and retired Journeyman Carpenter who raised and trained horses in my younger years. I am willing to share whatever people may find interesting.
I have a two year old female tabby I raised from a kitten named Luna.
I dont really have a list of favorite boondocking places yet but I am anxious to get started on one
I was born in Toledo just fifteen minutes from the Central Oregon Coast and the town of Newport Oregon where I was raised and remained until age 37

We enjoyed a pleasant evening with her, otherwise she was so quiet we hardly knew she was here. We would welcome her back.
VanChick arrived right on time, and after a bit of conversation and getting settled in, we didn't cross paths for the next couple days. She's got a nice new self contained rig and keeps to herself. She's welcome back any time.
Vanchick’s visit was a few day of enjoyable girl time. She arrived just before my friend came for a visit; we spend the evening chatting, enjoying, sharing, comparing our life’s journeys. I know I will see her again and am looking forward to it.
VanChick stayed for three nights, hubby met her briefly when she arrived after that not even a peep. Totally self contained, quiet, left no trace.
Quiet but very personable, we enjoyed having her visit. Would gladly host her again. Bogie
We really enjoyed hosting vanchick. She is pleasant and friendly and we were her first stop on her full-time RV adventure. As all new RVers she is working through her learning curve. She is eager to learn and was open to suggestions. We hope we see her again!
