My wife and I are avid RVer's. We travel to Florida each year in January
to visit the The Tampa RV Supershow. We hope to boondock in Florida & on the way to the 2017 Tampa RV Show. My wife is an avid Quilt Maker & also does a lot of sewing. Gardening is also high on her list & fishing is high on my list. I have traveled as far as Yellowknife in the Canadian Northwest with fishing buddies. It was a long trip; but, really worth it. My wife & I have traveled in all the contiguous states (48) .
Our property contains about 6 acres. However; most of the property is not designed for a larger rv. Smaller rv's would be best...but, send us a message with your requirements and I'll let you know if we can accommodate your rig.
My wife and I are into gardening and canning for the pantry. I am a little short on expertize; but, know how to find it when needed.
We have one working cat. Actually, he only works part-time. His name is Kasha.
We have only boondocked at relatives & friends homes or a one night stay at
We live in the rural area of Waxhaw, NC. The town of Waxhaw has great restaurants for an occasional meal. The town has a historical museum depicting former President Andrew Jackson who was from the area. Also home to JAARS.Org. Look it up. We'll be glad to give you a tour of their facilities. It's also a great town to shop for antiques. Charlotte,NC is only 30 miles away with lots of things to do & see.
We have a 2009 Jayco Melbourne class B plus. The unit has three slides and is fully self contained. Also a 2013 Honda CRV
Only stayed one night in January of 2021 but our hosts provided all we could need-a level spot and 15A power. Due to Covid we could not socialize too much but they were very gracious and welcoming. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. Thanks again.
Very nice folks and a good flat spot to park. They offered electric but it wasn't needed. I would stay again if in the area.
We were in the area for an RV show and stayed on Strikeforce's Boondockers site. We had a nice level gravel driveway with 110! The property itself is pretty secluded and nice and quiet. We wish we would have had more time to visit with the hosts - they were very kind and enjoyable to talk with. We would definitely recommend staying with Strikeforce!
Strikeforce host and hostess were so thoughtful, kind and helpful. They are wonderful! Quiet peaceful night after a nice cup of tea with them. They even allowed my co-pilots Miki and Timmy in to run around and get some exercise since it was quite chilly outside along with a nippy wind. I hope we meet again so i can get to know them better. Thank you again Strikeforce, for everything!
Rayne and the boys.
It was such a pleasure to stay at RV Country Living. Very very friendly and welcoming people with BIG hearts. I even got a RV tour and some yummy and beautiful treats. Thanks a lot. I would love to meet you again in Florida.
Great hospitality, warm welcome! Great conversation and area information! A definite place to visit again. GREAT restaurant recommendation! Great parking!
Super nice, helpful and friendly. Instantly comfortable people to hang out with. If they let us, we will be back! 😁
Really sorry this came so late. Thank you for having me last year. Enjoyed it very much. Your wife made a dish scrubber that IS AMAZING and i still use it to this day. And thanks for the tour of the airport down the road. Met back up with my wife in Pismo Beach and made her dreams come true riding horses on the beach. We hit almost every state in the US and it was a great year where we came together as a couple to be more than we were before. Would love to share pictures with you if you all like. adamc.orens @ gmail.com.
Thank you again!!
Steve and Sandra had great stories to tell and offered us the warmest hospitality. Sandra even presented us with a welcome basket. Great folks, delightful property. Comfortable stay, wish it were longer!
