Mostly retired IT executive and retired RN, now full time RV nomads! We enjoy visiting National and State parks, historic sites, and beautiful churches and other architecture. We keep our rig small so we can get in to older campgrounds and tight sites.
Extensive technology skills from a 35 year IT career. I'm happy to help out with whatever tech issues our hosts might have. And, 2 1/2 years of full-time RV life has been a great opportunity to learn and share!
One very cute, 10 pound dog. Lady is a rescue, a terrier mix who loves everyone, human and canine. She only barks to get the attention of passing dogs she wants to meet!
We found a great BLM area just north and west of Moab, UT.
Kofa Wildlife refuge in western Arizona is beautiful and free.
Tempe, Arizona (a Phoenix suburb). However, our sticks and bricks is rented out, so our other bases are Flagstaff, Arizona and Lake Oswego, Oregon. We go there to visit our kids and grandkids (13 in total)!
Lance travel trailer (23 ft end to end) with 1 slide on the driver's side. Tow vehicle is a 2018 RAM 1500 Ecodiesel quad cab. Total length is ~42 feet.
Great folks, love talking with them. Learned some good tips on boondocking that I can use when me and wife start hitting the road. Enjoyed meeting them and their dog. Welcome back anytime.
We had our calendar closed down for Canopy Grove for several months because of travel etc. Then we received a message through Boondockerswelcome from RVPilgrims asking if we could accept their request for a night stay. (We have it on our site to call if the calendar is closed. We may be home). We were and of course were able to accommodate them. It was nice again to meet fellow travelers (and their little furry friend). We welcome you back again during the better Willamette Valley weather.
Good communication and minimal requirements, was great to be able to offer a spot for these guys passing through, welcome any time, Happy Travels!
What a fun time we spent talking RVing with the RVPilgrims. Super polite and interesting folks - we sure hope to catch them out on the road or welcome them back here again.
Super nice couple. Very friendly and nice to chat with. Welcome to come back anytime.
happy trails and be well
Meeting and getting to know RVPilgrims felt almost like a reunion! We had so much in common that it seemed as though we were gathering with family. We enjoyed hosting this wonderful couple and would welcome them back anytime.
We really enjoyed hosting RVPilgrims. Their experience of being on the road for two years has given them some insights they happily shared with us. We hope they are able to come again someday or maybe meet up on the open road somewhere.
RVPilgrims worked with the tight turnaround here and made it happen. Easy guests - interested in our place and most appreciative.
Lady was a great hit with our eight year old grand daughter, which made Koda uncharacteristically jealous!
They arrived early and I was looking forward to getting to know this nice couple, however the incline on my driveway proved a difficult transition for their trailer’s clearance. They decided to leave, yet didn’t have an alternate destination. I asked them to stay a few minutes to figure out alternatives, pointing out a couple of nearby options. While we missed a longer visit, they’re definitely a couple I warmly recommend!
Gracious guests. Brad worked with me on a problem I’m having with my motor home .
They’re welcome anytime.
