We have been traveling full time since 2015. For the first 3 1/2 years we traveled in a pop up camper and in 2018 purchased our Landliner and redid the interior/painted exterior. We also welcomed our baby girl in November and started traveling with her when she was just a month old. She's been a great traveler so far and we love showing her new things on the road.
Phil is a web developer and Bailey a digital marketer. We also are avid disc golfers and can tell you A LOT about the sport (seriously, you'll have to end the conversation once you've learned enough :D )
Our cat Emmy (approximately 14 years old) travels with us. She enjoys being outdoors and is good about staying close to where we are camped but we still keep a close eye on her. (We used to keep her tied up but she is an expert escape artist from a harness.) Depending on our stay, we can keep her inside for her safety or for the comfort of pets/residents where we stay.
Our very first extended boondocking stay was in Coconino National Forest about 30 minutes southeast of Sedona, Arizona. The Verizon 4g (we need it for work) and sunsets were top notch.
We lived in Lawrence, Kansas before we started traveling. We are still Kansas residents and are back through the midwest (Kansas and Iowa) a couple times a year to visit friends and family.
Our travel trailer is a 21 foot long (includes tongue) 1971 Aristocrat Landliner. In 2018, we gutted and rebuild the interior and painted the outside. We try to keep our hubcaps shiny! We tow our Landliner with a Silver Toyota 4Runner.
