We have both had motorcycles and loved to do long distance trips. We always camped but eventually decided that sleeping on the ground was becoming a little hard on our bodies. We decided to try an RV 4 years ago and fell in love with traveling this way. Last year we joined Harvest Hosts and stayed with many hosts on our trip to the Grand Canyon. It is sooo much better than a campground and such fun meeting people who love doing the same thing we do.
My husband has lots of hands on experience with most mechanical things. Also heavy equipment and trucking experience.
I love to exchange travel tips with others and enjoy planning our next adventure.
not while we are still traveling.
We have not had a bad spot yet and each one is different. Every spot has had interesting people too. Such a bonus.
Oakville, ON and Woodstock, ON. Now we live in Gravenhurst, ON . Winters are spent in warmer climes.
A 29 ft Glendale Titanium with 2015 Ford 350. A large a portion of the length is over the truck bed because of the special nose cone. This allows us better turning radius.
Wonderful couple with a very nice 5th wheel. Was a pleasure hosting them. Make sure to give yourself some time to spend talking with them, it feels like you're talking with old friends.
Easy to be around. Felt like we’ve known them for years. Hope you stop back on your return trip. Looking forward to seeing you in Canada.
Delightful couple, congenial, warm and friendly. So glad they chose to stop for the night. You are welcome back anytime!.
As our guests said in their review of their stay at our host site, we had a great chat about where to find camping spots as well as discussing points about our respective Titanium 5th wheels (by Glendale).
We'd have these guests back anytime ... and in fact, hope to visit them at their location as soon as time permits!
Very friendly and they left our place as they found it. Welcome back anytime!
I really enjoyed meeting Suemur and had a lovely visit. They were very helpful and offered to help carry a heavy object. Nice people I hope they come back.
