Active new retirees.
We bought our first RV (class A Coachman Mirada) in 2018 not knowing anything about operating them. The former owner gave us a great orientation and our long time neighbours, also RVers, have given us lots of advice. We used the RV on a couple weekend trips and then spent 10 days exploring Newfoundland. What a trip!
We feel there is always more to learn about RVing and look forward to exchanging stories and knowledge with other boondockers.
On the home front we are always working on a new project — renovating, gardening, or landscaping.
We love our pets so we will be travelling with our 1 year old, 32 lb, Blue Heeler mix. She is new to RVing, but we expect her to be a great traveller over the coming years. We also have a 17+ year old cat that does not travel well so family and friends step up to care for her while we are away.
Not yet, but we hope to have more experiences boondocking. We stayed with two lovely boondockers Welcome Hosts during our briefer than expected 2019 US trip. We hope to continue our US trip before too long.
Waverley, Nova Scotia, Canada is where we live. We also have a small cottage on the Cobequid Bay that is home to the highest tides (45+/- feet) in the world. Our cottage is so small that we coined the name “Shed and Breakfast”.

Really enjoyed meeting AngandEd & their little dog. Will host them again any time. 🤗
AngandEd made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. We had everything you could ask for and really enjoyed the evening talking about our countries. Thanks a lot for your outstanding hospitality. Hope to see you again.
Enjoyed our stay, great people and good site. They joined us in touring the countryside. Highly recommend this boondocking site.
Had a good stay with our hosts, they are very friendly and kindly provided power and water. It's a nice area, although there is some traffic noise. Really good location for getting into Dartmouth and Halifax.
Pleasant conversation and a short walk in the garden, helpful local directions
Hope to see them on the West Coast sometime!
We had a wonderful, one night stay and informative and fun visit with our hosts. The hosts have lots of information about the area. The location is next to their beautiful home and garden. Ang and Ed could not have been more welcoming.
Great location for halifax and biking trails. Scotiagold was wonderful we recommend. Staying if in area
Our hosts were very warm and hospitable.
They gave us advice on where to bike ride right by their house. Beautiful park where we biked 11 km to a lake. Near Halifax and Dartmouth also. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs though they are next to the highway. Great location that we recommend to stay if you are in the area.
AngandEd are wonderful BW Hosts to visit with.
They are most concerned about your comfort &
we found it interesting to compare our RVing experiences.
They enjoy telling you about their beautiful region of pritine lakes.
Also show you their very incredible vegetable garden.
My visit was short but we did a lot.
I would love to return again!
Thank you AngandEd?
