Great people to meet and good overnite stop. Would stay again when passing through.
We finely had the opportunity to meet Our host. They very helpful and even invited us to go out to supper which was delicious. That you for a wonderful visit.
Gracious hosts, Accommodated my last minute change of plans. I got to watch a beautiful sunset, full moon rise and great sunrise, all in one spot. Great night's rest. Thank you The Landing!
This is an easy, peaceful location not far from the Interstate. We stayed 2 nights and had 30 amp service, 50 amp was available but just couldn’t reach with our power cord. LeRoy and his wife were a pleasure to meet and visit with. Would very much recommend this location.
We got to meet the host couple for just a few brief minutes the evening that we pulled in and we had an enjoyable visit for 20 minutes or so then they went to their RV and we went to our RV and we had a great night. It was quiet, it was comfortable and just perfect for an overnight stay.
All good things to say. Communicative, helpful and knowledgeable. The space was perfect. Me and my dog got a good nights sleep so I could have another productive driving day on my trek back home. Thank you LeeRoy!
Second stay here and have yet to meet the host - gracious enough to allow a stay even when absent.
I arrived late and left early. It was great having a safe place to stay where i didn't have to detach the car trailer. The host was communicative despite not being home.
Very pleasant stay, owners were kind enough to allow even though they were away.
Surrounded by trees, just off the road, with power available is a perfect overnight stop!
Easy to find, easy in-and out, easy access to the interstate. We did not get to meet the hosts, but they were very responsive to messages. Electric hookups are available on the property, although we did not use them as we would have had to unhook our motorcycle trailer/car dolly in order to get close enough. Well kept property and peaceful location.
The owner was easy to communicate with, and the space was easy to find, grassy and private. We did use a block to level on the grass. The 50 amp was appreciated.
Just a few miles off the highway, easy in and easy out for our 37' with tow car (did not have to unhook). Perfect overnight stop location. Host even provided power which was great to keep batteries charged for our full size fridge.
Took me to Walmart's to get a tool. Pretty cool and generous. Love his set up!
Nice little spot just off the road. We were surrounded by farm land and trees. Some nice shade in the evening. Definitely keep it in mind for future stops.
Nice stopover...tho I needed to go buy an extension cord to reach the power pole (you might mention that in your write-up!).
Due to the storms tracking across Oklahoma and Kansas during our return trip from Texas, we decided to cancel our spot in OKC and push as far north as we dared to miss the mess. I contacted them last minute from the DFW area and he was super fast to reply and allow us to stay. It was very easy to find and had plenty of room. They are very kind folks and are very giving. If we pass that way again I would not hesitate to stop in if available.
The hosts met us when we pulled in and had a wonderful location for our RV! Their circle drive even allowed us to stay hooked up to our toad. Had a nice visit with them and talked about Arizona. Added plus was the 30amp electric hookup! Nice quite evening with a passing thunderstorm to boot. Would definitely come back.
Our second time stay! Thank you LeRoy for a nice place to stay overnight.
I arrived late under the Super Wolf Blood Moon. No need to level on the graveled drive. Perfect viewing of the eclipse. I appreciated the seamless stop over for the night. Thanks so much!
Stayed here overnight. Hosts were not here, but gracious to give us a place to stay and included 50 amp electric. So grateful. The location very accessible from the highway and land very easy to park on. Highly recommend!!
LeRoy replied rapidly and had very good directions to help us feel welcome and at home.
Very nice location easy to get in and out of and we loved having the electricity. LeRoy answered our questions promptly and was very accommodating. Sorry we didn’t get to meet you.
Our travel was delayed due to unexpected vehicle repairs in Tulsa. LeRoy graciously accepted our short notice stay request. After arrival and setup, we enjoyed a cold bottle of water and nice visit with our hosts. We left early the next morning, due to an upcoming 500 mile travel day. Thanks for the hospitality!
Mr. Willis goes above and beyond. Great to meet him and no doubt I'll stay again!! I was blown away by his generosity!
We had a long hot day before getting here and the set up was perfect. We enjoyed some leftover Memphis bbq and hit the road early for Denver. Leroy could not have been any more accommodating and would highly recommend this spot.
We only stayed for one night since we were just passing through but it was a nice quiet night. Thank you for letting us stay!
Thanks for the hospitality, Leroy. We enjoyed our overnight stay. You have a great, quiet location.
We are very grateful to be able to stay here. The host was communicative and gracious enough to allow us to stay even though they needed to attend to family business. The pull through was a nice feature for larger rigs, although we didn't need it. This location was close enough to Wichita to be convenient but rural enough that my children saw their first lightning bugs here.
We showed up right at sunset, just before LeRoy and Anna got home. We had just set up, so we met up and started talking. They showed us their Silver Eagle camper. We sat and visited awhile. We had a lot in common and had a great time together. They walked us back to our motor home since they had a flashlight and we visited some more in our motor home. Great people. Great stop on our way north from home. We'd definitely stop again if we were in the area.
When we arrived at Mr. Willis’s place he greeted us at the drive, helped us back in to a great spot with a 50 amp hook-up and then invited us in to their awesome classic vintage tour bus. They were just incredibly nice and warm folks. We hope to stay at their place again and to see them on the road.
Real nice couple, live in there Silver Eagle conversion in a big barn. Invite guests to join them for real southern cafe
Stayed with our hosts for 2 nights. We were far enough from Wichita that it was quiet and peaceful but close enough to be downtown in 20 minutes. As all boondockers do we swapped stories about traveling and shared recommendation for places to stay around the country. They had plenty of space for our 23 ft vehicle.
Our second time stay! ThankYou! LeRoy for a nice place to stay.
