I am a retired pastor whose primary work was among the homeless and near homeless. I am an Eagle Scout and love the outdoors. We travel with an inflatable kayak and use it when we can. Last year we traveled from May 1st until July 31st going from Wilmington, NC to the west coast to Vancouver Island, BC, then across the northern US to Theodore Roosevelt NP before heading home. Our RV is a 1992 19 foot Roadtrek. Served 4 years in the USAF stationed in England.
None I can think of.

Wonderful couple that were so quiet, I didn't even know they were only about 40 ft from my house. Great to have and I hope they stop in again on their next journey if I'm in their path.
I've enjoyed their company and enjoyed the little happy hour talking about life.
Delighted to have met you and hope to see you again! You were perfect guests and we highly recommend you to other hosts.
Respectful of our home and time constraints.
Definitely would host again and refer.
What a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! Dlskinner was the sweetest, very communicable, and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer and chatted more! The driveway was perfect- The host helped guide us in, and located on a quiet street. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog and exploring Wilmington with the brief time we had. Thank you again and we look forward to staying in again in the future!
Easy to find and in a nice neighborhood. We needed a place to stay the night after a long day of driving before another long day down the east coast, so it was a great spot to park for the night in the middle. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location. It is a very quiet and convenient residential area. Very quiet and safe. Our host was delightful.
Enjoyed visiting with the host. Great tips to explore the area. Thanks again!
Wonderful hosts with a perfect spot in a super cute neighborhood. They are a wealth of information and friendship. Looking forward to coming back through someday soon!
Had a wonderful time! A prefect location for me to see the Battleship N.C. and the train museum as I travel south along the coast to Florida.
This was my first Boondockers Welcome experience and it couldn't have been more positive. A very nice host. They aim to please and do so admirably!
We had a great stay. You will not meet nicer people. They were wonderful hosts and we anticipate visiting again in the future.
The Wilmington Wanderers give a whole lot.
D & B have lived in the community a long time, and share info to get you to the best places. In our case D loaded us up and took us to see something truly remarkable. Very kind.
We enjoyed getting to know these fine people. And their neighbor, too.
Wilmington was new to us and we LOVE it. Downtown is a ton of fun and there is a park on the way there that we enjoyed immensely.
A visit to Wilmington will surprise you. Two thumbs up.
Hosts were so welcoming, very helpful and have a lot of info to offer. Can’t say enough nice things about this stay and it’s close to downtown!
Great Host, fast communication, location is 8 minutes from downtown, and 20 minutes from Carolina Beach! A+
We had a great time chatting and staying with Dlskinner. They were very accommodating and informative. There is a port authority nearby that provided just the right amount of white noise to help us sleep wonderfully. Great history in this community. Well worth the stay, thank you.
