Mid-forties couple that enjoys nature, fishing, hunting and flying together.
I work in IT and so I have computer skills; although after hours I like to build stuff. Currently building a Kitfox IV.
We have a one cat that isn't allowed outside.
Although we've never boon-docked there yet, I'm sure Alaska will be our favorite boon-docking location.

You'll like these folks if you ever have a chance to host them.
S & R know they have "Lifetime passes" at Our Place! Whether we're here or not. They keep an eye on things.
Quiet, respectful, thoughtful, repeat guests. They're always welcome.
On this stormy weekend visit, guests and hosts were heavily scheduled with activities. We passed like ships in the night but that's ok. We're old friends. They had a safe place to stay and we had guests we know we could trust with house keys when we're not around. Boondockers Welcome.com works! We love these folks and what they are doing.
...even when we don't have much time to visit much because we both have very busy lives. They are "auto pilot" guests - that is, we trust them them so implicitly that all they have to do is let us know they're coming to be sure we're not "full". They are always welcome and a joy to visit with and to host.
Busy holiday weekend for guests and hosts alike. We didn't even cross paths between arrival and departure but that's ok 'cause these folks are like family and are frequent flyers at "OurPlace". We both had family things happening. Of course they left our place the same or better than they found it just like they always do. We got to visit for a while at 3000' AGL the day before they arrived through their generosity with their airplane. These are great guests.
Just an overnight stay and only a short time to visit this trip. But these gracious guests left us with some unique and delicious treats. Great repeat guests and always welcome.
They were doing state track meets and lots of other things. We were tied up, too, so we didn't talk much this visit. The weather was not friendly either. We were in the basement a while the night before they arrived with tornado warnings and it looked like it might happen again when they arrived. But we didn't have to shelter while they were here. Living where we do at this time of year, it's a service we gladly provide any guest.with these guests we know everything will be fine for all of us. Great folks.
S and R are a wonderful couple of adventuresome wanderers who have done business with me in the past at my home-based business. Little did I know when first met S in 2006 or R in 2013 that we would be hosting them on Booddockers Welcome in 2019. They were our very first guests and it was a treat to have them here. We share many of the same interests and values. It just so happened that I was having part of the driveway paved the day after they arrived and we had family from out of town coming to visit also. They were very flexible about moving both their car and truck around to different parking locations for us to accommodate the driveway upgrade and all the other family vehicles. Because they also have family in the area, we will likely be hosting them again and we sure hope its soon. Great folks! Drive and FLY safely - wishing you clear skies, taliwinds, and smooth landings Hoenshell's!
